Summary of the preaching

Sunday, December 17, 2023 – Apostle Billey.

Prayer is a weapon. You have to have a goal in life.

And we need to pray effectively for this. Sometimes this requires sacrifice. And sacrifice is made easily when the objective is clear and based on the revelation of God’s word.
Effective prayer requires that our prayer be based on the word.

And to do that, we have to bring the word to the surface every time. Bring back to the surface simply by remembering this word.
So by praying in this position, everything connected to this word will connect to our hearts-and automatically the prayer flows.

So the depression will go, the sadness will flee, the oppression will fall…

It’s important to understand that, as a child of God, having the Word is essential.

1 Corinthians 6. 20

For you were bought at a price; Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

We’ll continue to build on this verse during this study time on prayer.

This verse must be on the surface before any kind of prayer, song of praise, worship….
That’s how the connection with God remains, and everything becomes easier.

Why pray with the Word?

God speaks, but he is invisible – he is Spirit.

What comes out of Him is what we call His Word, and it too is spirit.
This word is the totality of his will, that’s what he says.

You can’t see God or his word. But you can tell what he’s saying by what he says.
Whoever receives the Word has received God. So God is/enters this person through his word.

The Word is the expression of the whole of his will, of what he is, and of what we must do…
Someone who wants to walk with God and neglects his word cannot walk with him. It’s just not possible.

Whoever says he knows God and doesn’t keep his word, then he doesn’t know him.

How can you walk with someone you can’t see if you don’t listen to what they say?

When the Word is the pillar and foundation of a church, of a person – it’s going to be hard to destroy that church or that person.
If we understand this, our lives will totally change.

** How do I walk with God?

It’s only through his word. For God has no body. So I follow him through what he tells me.
For example: God can say to me, “I am here.

I don’t need to see his body, I just need to be aware that what he said is true. For his word represents him, he is in his word. And it was through his word that everything was created.

God is Almighty. But how does its power manifest itself?

It’s through his word.

That’s why true Christians are the happiest people on earth. Because they know the secret. It’s the word – and that’s where true deliverance lies.

If the devil has destroyed your life, if he has stolen from you, if he has hurt you. But if you understand that everything is in God’s Word and practice what God tells you, then your life will be completely restored.

God’s word is the foundation and is essential. That’s why we insist.

How can you fly a plane if you can’t drive a car or a bike?

** So what should we do?

First, learn to accept your word.

And if I accept his word – God will be in me.

** Then how do you walk with God?

Jesus said in John 14:15 If you love me, keep my commandments.

And he even added.
John 14.13 If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.

For those who have accepted the word, what they ask for is not a function of themselves, but a function of the word within them. But everything the word says is good for us.

So God’s word in us will change our opinion, our perception, our destiny, our preference, our love, our behavior, our habits…

That’s why the devil is afraid of those who have the word in them. Because the Word enables us to be children of God and makes us in God’s image.

Beloved, we must redeem time.

We have to grow up – become adults in Christ.

How do you become an adult?
By the ability to absorb God’s word – to eat the word deeply.
And that will enable us to have the character of God.

God is not afraid of the devil, of problems…
So how can a Christian be afraid of the devil, witches, occultists, death, problems, sleeping alone, driving on the freeway…? ?

What does this is when God is not in us. Having the word inside you means you’re not afraid of problems, the devil or anything else.

The absence of God creates fear, turmoil and confusion…
Talking about God doesn’t mean imagining an old man sitting on a throne with a long beard. It’s not about that, it’s not about God. God is greater than that and is Spirit.

** Let’s look at Jesus:

Jesus speaks. He came to this earth with a body. And within it is the word.
(John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; …)

John 14.9
9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? He who has seen me has seen the Father; how do you say: Show us the Father?

** Does God have a body? So what is Jesus talking about in this verse?

Jesus speaks of what is in Him – of the Word.

This is why Jesus is called the Word.
( Rev.19.13 and he was clothed in a garment dyed with blood. His name is the Word of God).

He is the Word of God – he is powerful – he is full of authority. And his word transforms everything.

We mustn’t have fun with the life God has given us. We don’t have to put priority on the things of this world, work, possessions…

Life is about knowing God and walking with Him.

And life doesn’t stop on this earth. Physical possessions are fleeting – just for this earth – but God is for eternity.

John 12.44
44 Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me.

** What does this mean? What is Jesus talking about?
Here again, he’s talking about the word. Jesus says that the word I have is the word of my Father.

It connects me to my Father.
And it is this same word in Jesus who also came to connect us with the Father. That’s why Jesus is the Redeemer.

** How can I believe?

It’s through words that we can believe, have faith.
Because first you have to listen.

Romans 10.17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

So first, Jesus has to speak so that we can believe.
And when he speaks, lives are transformed – sinners are visited by God and changed. They become children of God by receiving the spirit of the word.

Beloved; it’s important to note that when it’s said that your life will never be the same when you accept Jesus into your life; it’s up to you to make that manifest.

How do you do it?

By eating the word with both hands.
That’s how you’ll become a champion – the best – the light around you.

And it’s God who does it through his word in you.
No one can raise you or even make you rich…
But God is able to truly elevate you.

Jesus is the summit and holds all Power – the powers of darkness bow their knees before Jesus.
When Jesus speaks – he transforms from within. He is our master, our redeemer, our general, our savior…

So we must listen to him authentically and practice his word.

John 12. 45 And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me.

** How do I see God?

Jesus doesn’t talk about his body. Jesus had a body on earth, but his Father has no body.

He speaks of the word that is in him – that God has put in him.

When the word is in a Christian, he is kind, gentle, joyful, he must forgive, he must be a man/woman of peace, he must love…

It has to be transformed, that’s how we let the word penetrate our minds.

To see God, you must first receive the Word – put it inside you.

You must know – be aware that the word is alive – you must see this word with the eyes of the spirit.

When you receive the word, you’ll be filled with fire, determination and boldness.
You’ll see yourself with Jesus – not physically – but in spirit.

And when we see it, it gives us strength.

The word of God in us is visible.

That’s why a child of God can’t hide – by his words, we’ll know whether he’s truly a child of God or not.
We know the tree by its fruit.

God is extremely great. And thehe word of God in itself will make you strong, it’s the rock, it’s the light.
