Summary of the preaching
Dimanche 18 Juin 2023 – Apôtre Billey.
You were born to walk with God.
Since you gave your life for Christ, you need to be aware that a lot has changed spiritually.
Know that God has taken possession of the temple that you are.
We are God’s temple at all times. We are spiritual beings and God is within us.
This implies that the way we think, speak, act, decide … must be done according to God’s way.
No one can go to heaven without Jesus in him.
And you can only be victorious over everything if you have Jesus inside you.
When you become aware of the Lord’s presence within you, anxiety diminishes – your strength grows – the way you speak changes, the desire to pray increases…
This means that God is working in you.
1 John 4.4-6
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.
6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.L’homme est créé pour être habité par Dieu
When God is in someone, the person becomes strong.
God knows everything – and because he is peace – he will give peace, because he is joy – he will give joy…
On the other hand, the absence of God creates sadness, jealousy, envy, useless failures…
If you’ve noticed any of these bad things in your life – it’s because you need Jesus.
For if God is not present – another spirit will take its place – even if your conversion is genuine.
In fact, before we converted – there were all these bad things – we were possessed by all kinds of evil spirits:
worries, concerns, fear…
For he who lies is inhabited by the spirit of lies
He who flies by the spirit of flight, fear, …
He who is joyful, at peace, strong…is inhabited by the spirit of Christ.
So what does the Lord do to help us?
He comes knocking at the door of our hearts – sending his word.
Every time we hear the Word of God, it’s the Lord knocking at the door of our heart.
For example, 1 John 4.4 says that he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
The first thing is to listen carefully to what God is saying – to become aware of God’s presence.
And so, if this Christian felt weak, he must change his thoughts by remembering that God is strong.
So he must not cultivate in himself the spirit of weakness, nor the spirit of fear, of shame…
And the moment he changes his thoughts and attitude in this way – it means that this Christian has opened the door to God.
We only become strong when we accept what God says.
And this is possible by understanding and accepting God’s word.
Beloved, each of us must enter this dimension of domination. If you look at yourself, you won’t see anything and won’t be able to do anything.
However, if you look to Jesus within you…then he becomes your healing, your restoration, your strength, your rock….
So when we look at ourselves, we must look with the eyes of the spirit.
And if I see Jesus, how can I still be sad or weak?
When you put your thoughts on the Lord, you can only be strong…
And be sure that the Lord is able to help you in your work, your business, your studies…

Ps 86 8-13
8 There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, And nothing like your works.
9 All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord, and give glory to your name.
10 For you are great and do wonders; you alone are God.
11 Teach me your ways, O LORD! I will walk in your faithfulness. Dispose my heart to the fear of your name.
12 I will praise you with all my heart, O Lord my God! And I will glorify your name forever.
13 For your kindness is great toward me, And you deliver my soul from Sheol.
