Summary of the preaching
Sunday, November 19, 2023 – Apostle Billey.
Most of the time, the lack of prayer leads to many complicated situations in the lives of Christians.
Prayer is a weapon – it destroys the works of darkness – of sorcery.
And when a Christian prays in the spirit of God, his prayer disturbs every power of darkness around him.
Prayer is also essential, because it brings us closer to the Lord and, what’s more, it saves us from a lot of problems – from overwork…
Ps 107 .20
20 He sent his word and healed them, He brought them out of the pit.
The pit is synonymous with destruction.
Who sent the word? God the Father.
He sent – Jesus – who is the Word. John 1.1
This word is the Word of God. And this word brings destruction.
Any prayer that is based on the word is the one that is effective, but what comes from man’s mind cannot even chase away a mosquito in the spiritual world.
The word is very important – God founded his church on the basis of the word.
Who is the church?
The Church is not the building – it’s those who belong to Christ and are grounded in the Word.
Anything that does not come from the word is not approved by God. It’s everything that comes from the Word that will touch God’s heart.
It is those who have received the Word who have become children of God. – John 1.12-13
So as children of God – it is this word that has become my constitution.
And that’s what I have to base my declaration – my decree – on.
The head of the family must pray for at least an hour on various subjects.
There are many subjects: your family, your work, your home, your children, praying against the spirit of divorce, your promotion, your finances…
It’s a responsibility.
We take the time to do it, because we know there’s someone out there who’ll answer our questions and help us.
Prayer works.
When God wants to do something, he sends his word.
And he gave us the word so that we could speak.
** Someone who asks for forgiveness of sins – he’ll talk – ask God for forgiveness.
How will God respond? Through words – He’ll say, I’ve forgiven you.
And the person will feel liberated afterwards.
** If someone is sick – he’s not going to tell that person to go to the pharmacy. But he’ll use his word and tell her, I healed you. And so it shall be. That’s the power of words.
So we must learn to receive the word. So we’ll be healed – renewed – consistently restored – and destruction won’t be able to enter our homes.
The key to heaven is the word. All things were created through the word.
Any Christian who ignores the word is no good – All prayer must be based on the word, which means that any prayer that isn’t based on the word can’t be effective.
Suppose you go to see a lawyer – you can’t go to that lawyer if you haven’t first received in me that he’s a good lawyer.
Then you’ll go to him with confidence, convinced of the information you’ve received.
Those who understand God’s intention when he gives his word are constantly liberated. Those who understand the mystery behind the word are always victorious and prosperous.
If you want to keep your position in the Lord, keep your blessings received and all that God has given you – it’s the word. And then comes the prayer based on this word.
** Using the lawyer as an example, once you’re in front of him, you start explaining your case with confidence.
Based on this example – that’s how prayer works.
Beloved, any prayer that is not based on the word is not effective.
** Suppose you haven’t been told he’s a good lawyer – will you go to him with confidence?
Of course not.
** What will enable you to go to him with confidence?
It’s what you hear from him, what you receive, that convinces you.
Beloved – The true prayer, the prayer of deliverance, the prayer that changes your mind, the prayer that changes your destiny, the prayer that will turn things around in your favor is the one that will be based on God, on the word.

There is no deliverance without words.
God has given us his word and it’s a great blessing.
But today, people are so focused on money and material things. For them, the blessing is the money… so much so that they miss the real blessing.
A person can have money, but lose it. Whereas he who has the word is on the rock.
Money is not the rock and does not give joy, but only contentment.
The one who gives assurance is God, and when you’re on the rock, your life begins to blossom.
Ps 107 .20
20 He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions
That’s why those who rely on the spoken word always achieve great things.
This is how God sent his word and it destroyed the destroyer.
Consider this passage again,
1 Corinthians 6.20
For you were bought at a price; Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Let’s assume, then, that the word is received. For what we want is to pray effectively based on God’s word.
When it comes to a lawyer – what do you see as his ability/role?
A lawyer can defend you.
** So in this passage from 1 Corinthians 6:20 – The essential word is redeemed.
And you have to be redeemed to glorify God.
What does it mean to be redeemed?
When you go to the store – you buy and you collect.
A person owns what he has bought.
Once this is understood, I then begin to build my prayer on this foundation.
To pray effectively – you have to see and take.
So I have to see myself as someone who belongs to God.
So I have to see myself – feel myself with Jesus.
And that’s what we call Truth. The truth is no longer for him, it’s now in you.
The Lord Jesus said –
John 8. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
To be emancipated is to consume the truth – to possess the truth.
So don’t think that you’re with the enemy, that you’re in the world, that God doesn’t answer your prayers, that God doesn’t love you…
It’s all part of the devil’s lie.
The truth is, you’re with Jesus.
Powerful prayer comes from the word of truth = the word of him who redeemed me.
When God buys you, he buys you with your illness, with your problem, with your anxieties, with your situation…
So I begin to declare/proclaim that I am redeemed.
I am no longer in such and such a place – I am redeemed – I am protected – I am blessed.
Jesus is my shield – my shelter – my shepherd.
The depth of prayer is drawn from the spirit.
Life with God is not religion.
Confidence comes from words. And we rely on it to pray with depth and power.
If you stand up with the truth in you – you’ll destabilize the demons with your prayer – the sea will split in two – the mountains will crumble…
For it is the Word that will pray in you, and the Word created all things.

Lord Jesus, thank you for redeeming me.
Yes – I belong to Jesus.
I was born for Jesus – I am saved.
I’m in Jesus.
Jesus is my shield – my shelter – my shepherd.
I am blessed – I am your possession Lord Jesus.
I am healed, I am strong, I am protected.
In Jesus’ name – today – I declare my victory.
