Summary of the preaching
Sunday, June 4th 2023 – Apôtre Billey.
1 corinthians 6.17
But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
The word of God surpasses the word of man.
So if God says he’s with me – that’s permanent.
This word therefore becomes my strength, my support, my shield, whatever I may hear, wherever I may be or whatever I may see.
That’s how you walk with the Lord.
And that’s how heroes are born.
You can’t know what people really have in their hearts, but your responsibility is to keep God’s word in your heart at all times.
That way, you’ll always be prepared for any situation.
It’s in times of peace that we prepare for war.
If someone tells you that they don’t love you, and it saddens and grieves you to the point of breaking down.
In reality, this will mean that you haven’t kept the Lord’s word, that you don’t love God, that your spiritual level is low and also that you’re still manipulable.
Don’t do that, don’t walk like that.
Know that human beings are unreliable – unstable. Today he’s laughing with you, and the next day he doesn’t want to smell you.
God is always stable, faithful in everything he says.
That’s why the word of GOD must be your support.
Jeremiah 17:5
Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD”.
When God’s Word is preached, it’s to teach you, to strengthen you in Christ so that you can walk better with God.
Instability brings disorder into a person’s life, but if you learn to be stable, there will always be order.
So where there’s order, there’s prosperity, there’s victory.
So take God’s word seriously and put it in your heart.
You’ll find that joy, peace, blessing, love… will always be with you in your life and in those around you.
1 corinthians 6.19
Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
When you truly accept that you are God’s temple.
This position gives you graces and favors… You become highly protected.
In the same way as a person becomes president – the security/protection system around him or her is amplified. So you too, as a temple of God, acquire more of this grace and many others.
You’re very important, you’re more valuable than gold, diamonds, silver – you’re highly protected, because you’re God’s temple, his sanctuary.
As soon as the Lord tells you something – take it to heart and change your attitude change the way you see yourself.
God’s word is meant to transform us. You have to accept everything he says.
That’s how miracles are made, that’s how heroes are formed.
Whoever resists the word then resists God’s glory, resists his blessing, resists his transformation, resists his divine protection, resists his healing…
It’s very dangerous, because to resist God is to resist your Father.
But if you resist your Father, you won’t get your inheritance.
Never resist his Word – God must be the priority of your life. You are his temple.

But he who clings to the Lord is one spirit with him.
How do you become attached to the Lord?
It is through his Word – every word declared by God.
You have to love God’s word.
How do you know if you love the Word of God or if you love God?
It’s how you take his word for it.
It’s all this that will judge your degree of love for God.
John 14.23
Jesus answered and said to him, “if anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him”.
Those who love the Lord – keep his word.
And those who accept God’s word are changed and transformed.
But very often, the priority is not God. But for us, the priority is homes, material goods, natural things…
But all this takes a long time, and in the end, there’s no room for God, which means that God is no longer there.
Beloved, make God your priority, make his word – your priority.
Be convinced that the word is true, for it is God himself who has spoken.
He created you, and he alone is God.
Then because He has spoken His word will become conviction in you – you won’t take it lightly, but rather with conviction.
Even if it doesn’t come true on the same day 100% of the time, that doesn’t take away from the truth of this word.
You are God’s temple – don’t doubt it.
If you say to yourself that you don’t like the chouchou because it doesn’t exist.
Or even because others don’t like it, saying it’s no good.
Nevertheless, other people like it and say it’s nourishing and good.
The one who tasted it says it’s good – so what can you do?
Believe in the one who has tasted.
And if you’ve never eaten the chouchou – you’ll at least try it.
After tasting, you see that it’s good… You take another spoon and so on…
Consider this:
If they still give you breast milk at your age, will you drink it?
And yet, as a baby, you asked for it.
So just because you don’t drink it now doesn’t mean it’s no good.
So know that in life, everything depends on your level of understanding.
And remember, beloved, that everything God says is good and true…
Do not reject God, your benefactor, your salvation, your advocate, your deliverer, your helper, your blessing, your redeemer, your glory…
Never do that.
God connects us through his word.
Jesus is there and we don’t see him physically – But we’ll always see him through his word.
Even if you don’t fully understand and wonder:
“How is it possible that God is in me?”
Even if you only accept it 10% or even 5% – beloved, practice this.
With God, it’s not how much you’ve grasped that counts.
But what did you do with the little you understood?
That’s why he says not to neglect weak beginnings.
“YOU ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD.
God doesn’t lie – it’s not information – it’s reality.
And where God is, that’s where heaven is.
There will be peace, joy, understanding, unity, love, favor, healing, restoration, blessing…
Yes, God is not only in heaven, but also in you.
Talk to him, inside yourself.
When you’re at work, you’re there as God’s temple.
When you go to the market or any other activity, you go there and do everything as God’s temple.
Take carefully and seriously everything you’ve understood (even the 5% – the 10% …).
And then you keep practicing, so you’ll grow and progress.
