Summary of preaching
Sunday December 25, 2022 – Apostle Billey.
Rom3
23. for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24. being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,
We know that Jesus was not born on earth on December 25, but what we are celebrating is the reason why Jesus came to earth. And this is what is very important.
Jesus existed before anything else; In the beginning was the word. And Jesus is the word.
Everything was created, everything exists through Jesus; because everything was created by the Word. When we talk about Christmas, we talk about victorious life of deliverance of liberation.

For what reason did Jesus come?
The world is full of evil, in the thoughts, imagination, mouth of man.
And man began to love evil, because he was born in evil and grew up in evil, sometimes without even knowing that it was evil.
So God looked for a solution in order to deliver man from the mud of sin, so He sent His only Son Jesus.
God the Father could have made Jesus come directly, but to make the story understandable for human beings, Jesus came out of a woman’s womb, like any other human being.
In this way, Jesus humbled himself deeply in order to come to this earth.
Ph.2, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
Our century needs Jesus more than ever.
For we are a generation that does not love God, that does not like to hear the truth but only things that flatter without seeking to change our ways.
We are a generation that wants God’s blessings, but continues to live in adultery, fornication, lies, theft, perversity…
Sin is sin, let’s not try to justify any.
2 Tim. 4 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
Our generation is a generation whose heart is not firm towards God, whose heart is too distracted, whose heart is divided by the desires of this world, who accepts Jesus only in part and continues to live in sin in some areas, a generation attached to the things of this world.
But the truth is that it would be better to cut off one’s foot, pluck out one’s eye… in order to go to heaven – than to keep it and go to hell. (Matthew 5:29-30)
In Rom. 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Jesus came to take away sin and to deliver anyone who comes to Him from it. Thus, that person is born again.

What does it mean to be born again?
It is a person who has the thoughts of God, who has the knowledge, the fear of God…
It is someone who does not tolerate evil, but firmly rejects everything that is opposed to the truth.
He knows his identity, he is aware that by coming to Jesus, the Lord has delivered him from sin. He is aware that he is justified, that he is a new person in Christ, that he lives for Christ.
He knows that he is an ambassador of the Kingdom of God, his testimony of life is clear.
Beloved, we must be steadfast in following God’s way without swaying from one side to the other, but always walking firmly in sanctification. We must reject evil with all our heart. For to live in sin is to be connected with hell, the devil, demons…
Heaven, eternal life is only guaranteed to you when you stay in the way of God. And if you go out of the way of life, it is not advantageous for you.
Beloved, cast off, divest yourself of the spirit of this world! Save your soul.
Jesus is life and gives life, whoever receives the word of God, receives God Himself.
That is why he is able to save, to deliver, to give life to what does not exist, to what does not breathe anymore… because Jesus exists before all things.

What deceives men ?
It is the spirit of this world, the spirit of rebellion, of the devil, of the kingdom of darkness.
It always wants to make us believe that God does not exist. It is a spirit of manipulation in order to get you out of God’s way.
For example, if every time you decide to pray, it is difficult, know that there is a demon working behind it. When you have no taste for the things of God, for his word… This is the action of the kingdom of darkness.
If you don’t have enough time for the Lord, because of the multitude of your work program, the multiplication of your jobs, the abundant occupation with secondary things ….
You must know that you are in danger.
Indeed, where God is not at the head, at the beginning, what you do will have no value, will not prosper in a lasting way.
That is why Jesus came to save us, to forgive us, to reconcile us with God, to justify us. Rom3.25 Free of charge justified by his grace…
So, because of his great love that led him to the cross for us, beloved, love him also in truth, and offer him in return your life in sacrifice.
And know that the Lord is powerful to restore you, to deliver you from any situation…
LET US PRAY →
Father, I thank You for You are good and Your mercy endures forever. Thank You for making mercy available through the sacrificial Blood of Christ.
Lord, once again, I want to thank You for redeeming me through Your mercy, by the same mercy, lead me to dwell in Your temple of peace and glory in the name of Jesus Christ.
O Lord, forgive my sins by the greatness of Your mercy, in Jesus’ name. Forgive all my weaknesses because of the blood of Christ, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord Jesus, have mercy on me. Remember your sacrifice on the cross for me and have mercy on me. Your blood must not be in vain in my life.
O God, you are rich in mercy and kindness, let me enjoy and share the abundance of your mercy around me in Jesus’ name.
And now, Lord, perfect everything about me with your mercy; Lord, do not abandon me… in Jesus’ name.
Father, let your goodness and mercy be my companion…
