Summary of the preaching
Sunday, December 3rd 2023 – Apostle Billey.
To have victory, we must pray according to the word. Why pray with the Word of God?
John 1.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 It was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
The earth existed before us – man was one of God’s last creations – angels were created long before us. In the beginning, then, the Word was with God.
Imagine the power of this word, which has existed since the beginning.
When we receive this word within us, transformation takes place.
Nothing has been done without words.
Everything we can see exists through the word – that’s why it’s a grace to receive Jesus, who is called the word.
Revelation 19.13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. His name is the Word of God.
The word of God is powerful – it is God – it transforms – it restores – it creates – it establishes.
When you receive the Word within you, it will destroy every spirit of discouragement – sadness – sickness – poverty – anxiety – negativity – witchcraft… in your life. This word will deliver you when you receive it within yourself.
We Christians of this time are very distracted and attracted by material things, money and neglect the word. We covet what we shouldn’t – we envy the things of this world.
All this does not glorify Jesus and does not give a good testimony.
But starting today, we must decide to practice what God tells us in order to lead others to Christ.
It’s our pillar, it’s our foundation – it’s our base – it’s how we live.
The Lord created us through his Word.
John 1. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
The life we have comes from the word.
Understanding God’s word is not difficult, what made it difficult for us to understand was the world we live in. It’s the devil who makes man’s understanding limited. He attacked the word in Adam and Eve.
Now, our existence is based on the word, which is why it’s essential to know the word.
John 1.14. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Thus, the Word became flesh – it had a body – it therefore became a human being. And the first disciples were able to contemplate his glory.
Before she became flesh, she was only spirit. And she became flesh for only 331/2 years.
So before it became visible, it was invisible. So Jesus is spirit.
When He came into this world, He took on a body – which means that the Word was in Him.
And it is this word we received that gave us the right to become children of God. (John 1.12)
That’s why it’s essential to have the word.
The word received – the rhema – must enter us in order to pray on this basis.
God speaks, which is why he gave us the ability to speak.
He is invisible – he is Spirit. And his word is spirit too, and therefore invisible.
And that’s what we keep in our hearts.
God invests himself in us through his word. He visits through his word.
The one who does not pay attention to God’s word has just refused God’s visitation.
An angel can visit you – an archangel can visit you. But this visitation only makes sense when he delivers the word God has given him for you, and he himself draws his strength from God’s word.
He who rejects the word has rejected blessing, healing, deliverance.
That’s why people ran after the word in Jesus – telling him – just say the word (Matthew 8.8).
Beloved, we must run after the word, open our hearts to the word. God’s word is not news.
It’s life, and it’s powerful!
So how do we receive God? By receiving his word.
Jesus came to this earth with a body like ours – so that we wouldn’t be afraid – and so that we could accept him.
And in this body, there is the word, there is God.
Speech has no physical image. We perceive the Lord Jesus in our minds. His name alone makes all mankind flinch.
My strength will come from the Jesus I see in my heart. It’s not about images or photos, it’s about being aware of her presence with me.
The image of Jesus is in the spirit within us. And that’s how we see ourselves with Jesus.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. So he has what we need in his instructions to be saved when we practice them.
How to love God – how to have faith in God?
By accepting/receiving his word.
Faith comes from hearing the word of God.
Romans 10.17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
God’s will is that his word should enlighten us and give us the ability to walk with him.
Every time God speaks to us, he gives us the opportunity to love him, to know him.
Then I would no longer be in the realm of sadness, discouragement, anger…
The word you receive will make you react accordingly.
It must be visible in your mind, and this is what will create faith in you.
The victory of every child of God must be real.
What is speech?
Speech is invisible – you can’t physically catch it. But God is in his word – and his word is his expression. In other words, his word is his will, his desires, what he wants.
God expresses himself through his word.
I may not see God physically, but I mustn’t miss his expression.
Whoever wants to walk with God must have God’s word in his heart/soul, his mind – inside him.
For example, someone who was nervous in the past – when he receives the word, this spirit will leave.
Anyone who puts alcohol inside him – he’ll have reactions depending on what he’s had to drink, and we’ll be able to say he’s drunk. What he drinks will affect his body.
So if you learn to put God’s word into you – then what can happen by ingesting God’s word into us?
Strength – holiness, power – joy – peace will pour out of us.
So it will become visible in us.
The way you speak, act and live will depend on this word within you.
So how do you stand on the rock? Do we do it physically?
It’s by the spirit-the word of God with my spirit.
Every time you stand on that rock and pray, the power of Jesus will manifest itself.
The name of Jesus must be in you. We are created for Jesus to dwell within us.
A well-understood word from God allows us to stay on it for days.
So, wherever you go – you stand on it and decree – ask…
You’ll be unstoppable – unmanipulable – wherever you live.
When you’re sick, you don’t care what nationality the doctor is – it’s his competence that matters.
Then simply receive the word and base yourself on the rock to pray and declare.
The rock is the word received in the heart – the rhema.
You’ll see its power at work as you stand on the rock.
Money, possessions, all material things cannot be compared to the word.
The word is life, it is light.
It’s impossible to receive God’s word and lose yourself-impossible not to succeed.
LET US PRAY →
Lord Jesus, you have redeemed me.
I am forgiven.
I am with you Lord Jesus.
Yes – Jesus is with me. I am strong.
In your name, Jesus, I destroy anger – anguish – fear.
I destroy negativity – I break the forces of darkness.
In your name, Jesus, I succeed.
At work, anything done against me is destroyed.
All those who want to attack me, meet Jesus.
If you attack me – you’ll see Jesus.
All negativity against my life, my family is broken.
I’m protected – I’m safe.
I walk with confidence.
Jesus is my shield – my shelter – my shepherd.
I have peace – I have victory.
