Matthew 4

3 And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.”

4 But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’

On this earth, when a person leaves this land – he makes a will – he will thus leave to each of his heirs, a part of his goods. And it is on the basis of this document that the heirs will claim their assets, what is rightfully theirs.

No one can see when there is a will.

If there is no will, and the person was married, half the estate goes to the spouse. And the other half to her children, if she had any, if not to her family.
But when there’s no document, it’s complicated – the family can fight the spouse, or the spouse can fight the children if there’s animosity, and so on.
However, when there is such a will, no one can contest it. Because it’s the law.

In this world, every man walks like this, submitting to this rule, this principle.

How much more so, in the kingdom of God.

For us, God’s children, the Bible is a testament and the law.

All the words written there are beyond dispute. Everyone is subject to it, even the enemy.

** At the end of Jesus’ forty days of fasting, the tempter appeared. And the Lord Jesus presented him with the law: the Word.

Let’s take the example of a contract.

Contracts bind people, whether in marriage, work or anything else.

The signed contract is legally binding. In your company, if you don’t get paid, you can sue them, but if you don’t work properly, you can be fired on the basis of this contract.

In this document, everyone must obey.

And the Bible must be obeyed by everyone.

So if we don’t pray based on the word, the enemy is able to bring us down.

And that’s what the devil tried to do to Jesus, he provoked him – by saying if you are the Son of God…

By saying this does not cancel the nature of Christ, it does not deny the nature – the position of Christ, but the enemy wanted just to push him into error.

He insinuated – If you’re the Son of God, so you can do anything, turn stones into loaves of bread.

But if the Lord Jesus fell into this trap, he would go out of God’s way.

Then the Lord resisted, declaring the word.

If Jesus himself had to resist the tempter with his word, then he is the Word personified, but he himself relied on the word to resist the devil.

So we too need to take the word seriously, so that we can stand up to any situation that comes our way.

Speech is our weapon, our sword.

The devil fled before the word on which Jesus stood firm.

Matthew 4. 4 But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’

God’s bread is spiritual, I can’t see it, but it’s more powerful than physical bread.

Why?

Because we are spiritual beings.

For me to grow, I must eat every word that comes from God’s mouth.

Often, the young Christian chooses and filters certain words of the Lord.

Anything that affects our character, our behavior to correct us – we avoid.

Or a verse about how we dress – then we avoid it not honoring the Lord.

Let’s remember that every word of correction, even if it upsets us at first, is there to lift us up later. We must not reject God’s word.

Proverbs 12.1
Whoever loves instruction loves knowledge, But he who hates correction is stupid.

We are spiritual, we must eat the word. And it is with this same word that we will be able to drive out the enemy.

Let’s observe this, when the devil comes with a temptation, when he’s thwarted, he comes back with another tactic to provoke us.

Which means that every time we use the word, we break certain things, we cancel certain things.

But as the enemy is clever and does his job, he’ll go back to finding other strategies to tempt us.

You, however, must always keep to your word, and always have the right words to overturn his programs.

That’s why we must constantly stand on the Word to live – we must pray with the Word.

God has established principles and before biblical principles, everyone must bow down, including the devil.

Whatever the person, whatever the age of the Christian who resists based on the word – the devil must bow down.

Never neglect the Word, for it never loses its power. Everything is supported by God’s word.

It is eternal, powerful, because he who holds it is eternal and powerful forever.

2 Corinthians 10 .4

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

By the virtue of God, that is, it’s God who sets the ammunition.

Beloved, the word will always be powerful. Keep and practice all these teachings.

** We are the temple of God – there is the word of God in us.

Which means we’re atomic bombs.

All I have to do is open my mouth to attack any situation, and it will explode.

You’re a superpower. You’re the bomb.

On your own, you can drive out 1,000 demons, with two people you can drive out 10,000 demons, and with a group of friends you can drive out more than 10,000…

Beloved, you are an authority – Your enemy is not greater than you – the Word is very important.

You have the power, the ability to destroy any situation before you because of the one within you.

You are God’s temple.

When the devil presented himself to the Lord Jesus, it was a problem for him. And what’s more, at the very start of his mission, it was an obstacle, something that wanted to stand in the way of his mission.
And by the word in him, Jesus turned everything upside down.

So we too must follow our master’s example. You have to use your words in situations.

We have been redeemed at a Great Price so whatever the situation, we must present the testament which is the word of God.

And resist the enemy and destroy this situation by staying on the word.

** Beloved, note that it is also important to live by this word.

As a child of God, if you have sinned and are living in an abnormal situation, repent and return to God. And the power of the blessing attached to God’s word will manifest itself in your life.
Just as there is unquestionable power in the word of God-so there is power in the word of God that comes out of the mouth of a child of God.

We don’t have to live in sin, we have to let ourselves be transformed by this word.

And this word is a bomb in our mouths when faced with situations.

LET US PRAY →

Lord, I am your temple, I am your dwelling place.

Your word is in me.

Your power within me.

I’m strong, I’m raised, I’m your child.

All that has risen up against me to take me out of your way be overthrown.

I renounce any path other than your path.

You are my way, my redeemer, my master.

Now and forever.

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
