James 4.17
Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
Testimony :
I bless and praise the Lord for all the teachings received through His servant.
We were taught about deep repentance, and given a yellow booklet for the path.
And then we had to go and meet the Lord personally.
So I did, and the Lord reminded me of things I’d wanted to do for Him but hadn’t done.
In particular, I’d had in my heart to organize prayer meetings at home. At that time, my wife and I went to meet the man of God to talk to him about it. He encouraged us by giving us advice and instructions on how to set up.
So my wife and I started organizing these meetings, with my neighbor joining us. However, as time went by, we stopped.
And as I prayed and repented, following the instructions in the booklet. The Lord reminded me of this. And I felt inside me that the Lord was asking me why I had stopped the prayer cell at home? And the thought inside me was really insistent.
Then, one Sunday after worship, I went to pray about this subject that kept coming up for me.
And I asked the Lord for His help and assistance so that I could start organizing these meetings again.
And from there, I was able to resume. From now on, everyone who comes into my home is invited to join us in the prayer cell. I’ve also called my brother, who’s in another country, to join us online, with his family.
It’s already been a few weeks since we started up again, and I feel more of an atmosphere of peace in my home.
I have a great desire to invite more and more people to join us. When I have a family member on the phone, I share church teachings with them.
This teaching on deep repentance really blessed me, because it allowed me to repent and it led to restoring something great in my life.
I encourage all families to do the same, to share the Word and pray together, instead of letting distractions overwhelm them. Because it resolves many family conflicts.
