God’s thoughts and Word. Mark 5 .1-20; Mat 22.34-40 and Luke 10.25-28.

God is the Word – the Word is Spirit. God is Spirit. We need to connect with the Lord.

How can we be one with Him?

-We can only have a relationship with Jesus through his Word.

Because the Word of God – which is Jesus – is God himself.

We cannot physically see the Lord because He is Spirit-but as Spirit, He has His will, His way, He can speak.

So how do we walk with Him?

It’s having His Word in our mind, in our soul.

And any Christian who does this and continues to do so – he will see his life change completely.

He will be victorious over all the obstacles that were impossible for him in the past.

If the Christian doesn’t walk with Jesus, if he doesn’t receive, doesn’t keep the Word then he won’t be able to keep God, nor his victory, nor his eternal life.

This is a very dangerous situation for a Christian.

This is why the Christian is known for his ability to walk with God through his word.

It was by the Word that the earth was founded, and it was by the Word that everything was created, and we were created.

When we take the Word out of the equation, we’ll be religious, frustrated.

It will be difficult to understand the Christian life. And these Christians will know inside that they are defeated, that they are not in control of their lives.

We can’t control life without God’s Word.

That’s why it’s essential to know that it’s the Word that makes us Christians.

Man’s problem lies within each and every one of us. When someone is sick, it’s on the inside. And spiritual illness is sin. When sin enters you, it means you’re sick.

And the medicine for sin is Jesus, it’s his Word, it’s his Blood…

That’s why we must make every effort to put the Lord Jesus inside us.

We mustn’t be empty – we must always have Jesus inside us. Jesus is the Word.

A person can’t go to heaven if he doesn’t put Jesus inside.

How do you know you have Jesus inside you?

It’s when your life is transformed. It will be different from your old life.

You will love God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. You will love your neighbor.

You’ll forgive -You can’t hold a grudge, no matter how much you’ve been wronged. You learn to leave everything to God.

The heart where Jesus is found is a blessed person.

The blessing is not material, but spiritual. Blessing is having God inside you.

When God is in you, we say you’re blessed.

It’s from this point on that the person prospers.

Prosperity begins when you have God in you through his Word.

We must listen to the word in order to accept it and put it into practice.

When I have listened to the word seriously, then the word is always there in me.

Where do I go from here?

I must commune with this word, for the word is God.

Mark 5 .1.20

1 Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes.

2And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit

3 who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains.

4 because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him.

5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones.

6 When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him.

7 And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.

8 For He said to him, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!”

9 Then He asked him, “What is your name?” And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.”

10 Also he begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country.

11 Now a large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains.

12 So all the demons begged Him, saying, “Send us to the swine, that we may enter them.”

13 And at once Jesus gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits went out and entered the swine (there were about two thousand); and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and drowned in the sea.

14 So those who fed the swine fled, and they told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had happened.

15 Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid.

16 And those who saw it told them how it happened to him who had been demon-possessed, and about the swine.

17 Then they began to plead with Him to depart from their region.

18 And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him.

19 However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.”

20 And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled. And everyone was astonished.

This man was created in God’s image, but found himself outside God’s will.

He was so demonically possessed that he ended up in the tombs.

Jesus is the Word. His name is the Word.

The Word went to the cemetery and something interesting happened:

When Jesus approached –

The man bowed down before him and Jesus ordered the demons to come out of him.

Mark 5. 15 When they came to Jesus, they saw the demoniac, the one who had had the legion, sitting up, clothed and in his right mind; and they were terrified.

The focus is not on whether he was sitting or dressed – that’s common to every person.

But the main point – he’d come to his senses.

Beloved, something has happened to this man’s thoughts.

The problem was that this man had been attacked in his thoughts.

The demons had taken control of his thoughts, his control system.

His thoughts were totally diverted to the point where he could no longer control himself.

That’s why he ended up in cemeteries. He was oppressed, he couldn’t sleep, he couldn’t control himself. He could no longer look after his family.

But he was created by God to do God’s will.

Matthew 22. 37

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’

But this man couldn’t because his thoughts were controlled by the devil.

When your thoughts are attacked, you can’t do what you want.

There are several levels of attack: high, medium, low…

For this man, the level of attacks was very high.

The truth is that for many Christians, it’s the same thing, albeit at a lower level.

The only difference is that many continue to go to work, sleep in a house,…But they are controlled in their thoughts.

Beloved, the reason your life isn’t stable, one day you’re full of zeal, but the next you’re cold, is because your thoughts are under attack.

The reason you love God but can’t please him is because your thoughts are under attack.

When thoughts are attacked, the Christian can no longer love God.

Matthew 22. 37

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’

Thoughts are God’s blessing to us.

Through thoughts, we can analyze, reason, understand, discern…

And God has given us all these opportunities.

However, when this blessing is no longer in our control, and the devil controls the thoughts then it’s catastrophe.

That’s why, often when the Christian wants to pray, other thoughts come into his mind to distract him. Distracted thoughts during prayer, praise and worship take away from the quality of time spent with God.

These are all attacks. They’re demons in the air, trying to take control of your lives – because they know you’re Christians.

Demons know that when a Christian prays, it’s dangerous for them.

So they do everything they can to keep an eye on you in your car, at work, with your friends, to find out what you want to do so they can control your thoughts.

If you notice that you’ve received the word, you’re happy, but your joy doesn’t last long: it’s an attack.

If you procrastinate a lot, you put off good things until tomorrow, and that’s a habit – that’s what demons do.

They won’t let you pray or allow you to associate with those who pray. But only doing what’s wrong.

It’s a demon of oppression, torment, depression… They’re surveillance demons.

They want to destroy your blessing, they want to tear away your blessing, your joy, your peace, they can cancel out, spoil what’s inside you.

That’s why this Gadarenes man was attacked by these demons, they separated him from good things, from his family… and they put him in a graveyard. He was as good as dead.

The word had to come in first, the word that is life, that is powerful – for things to change.

The Word who is Jesus entered this cemetery and said demon – get out!

Beloved, when you see yourself in situations where you can’t pray, you have the authority to destroy demons – because Jesus is in you.

It’s up to you. If you don’t, you won’t be able to pray or serve God as you wish – you’ll be in a state of slavery.

Beloved, you must wake up and destroy, paralyze your demons – Jesus is in you.

LET US PRAY →

Every wicked spirit that wearies my life – that doesn’t want me to pray.

From now on, I destroy you.

I paralyze you in the name of Jesus.

You who attack my joy, who attack my peace – I execute you in Jesus’ name.

Lord Jesus, I belong to you, my life belongs to you, my thoughts belong to you.

Thank you for the victory in my thoughts.

My life is blessed, my family/home is blessed.

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
