Friday, March 22, 24 – Apostle Billey

In this world, what we’ve seen and heard so far in Christianity isn’t yet the best. But that’s not all.

And we know, the last glory is supposed to be better than the first. So God will manifest this through his people: the Elisha’s, Joshua’s…- those who can control God’s spirit through his word. Those who know how to open up and receive it.

The moment you receive him without doubt, he will manifest his greatness.

Our Lord Jesus is so powerful, God the Father is extremely powerful – more powerful than the word powerful.

Let’s not try to connect with God in our own ways. We don’t try to understand his path – that’s why it’s sometimes difficult to connect with him.

Surprisingly, what is a miracle for us is not a miracle for God.

If we know how to walk in the spirit, many things will change.

What we need is in Jesus, in the Word.

If we understand this, we’ll never be the same again.

Jesus came to set us free, not to inform us.

John 6 .36 But I said to you that you have seen Me and yet do not believe.

Let’s take a look at this writing. What do we see?

How can you look at someone and believe in them? Just look at it and believe?

So Jesus is not talking about looking at him physically. But he’s talking about the Word and the manifestation of the Word.

Everything he says has been said, is manifest.

You see my word You must believe in my word – says Jesus.

** So how do you connect with Jesus? How can I believe in Him?

There’s something in us that prevents us from fully grasping Jesus, but we have to work on our thoughts, our minds, our souls… Everything in us to “embrace” Jesus.

We’re not talking about the physical here, but about his word.

The moment you can do that – and you keep and work at it in the 72 hours you receive his word, your life is going to be totally transformed.

Believing is only possible when you hear something.

It means that Jesus has said something and is asking us to believe it.

So how do you connect with Jesus?

When Jesus speaks, we don’t have to look at his body.

Let’s take an example:

John 8.29 And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him.”

In our thoughts, if we pay attention, we’ll see that in reality we’re seeing a man physically talking to us.

We’re used to it.

What we see or imagine is more important than what we hear.

The pictorial Jesus we see in our thoughts is more important to us.

So much so that the word cannot act – cannot manifest itself – because it is the face of the person we see that will be brought to the surface.

That’s what we call idolatry.

Beloved, we must let the Holy Spirit correct us.

When Jesus, says in John 8.29 He who sent me is with me.

** Which “me” is the Lord Jesus talking about?

Human language is weak, very poor – only spiritual language can describe what Jesus is saying.

However, despite the human language used, we must understand that it is not the body, but the word that is Jesus himself.

Who is the “I” Jesus is talking about?

Moi is set for the word, Jesus does not operate in the physical realm.

The flesh can do nothing but the spiritual.

When you talk to the Lord, don’t put an image/face on him, you just have to receive what he tells you.

And what he says has no form, has no body – all he says is that which must enter you.

And from that moment on, Jesus is inside you. For the Word is Jesus – he is spirit.

We must train our minds for this.

** How does Jesus heal?

He’s never given anyone pills to drink. No – Jesus heals by his word.

So what is it that we need to focus on and open up to?

Physical or spiritual?

The spiritual, because the Lord Jesus is spirit.

It is written in

Revelation 3.20

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and dine with him, and he with me.

** What do we see in our minds?

A man knocking on a physical door?

And we start asking the Lord to knock on our door… This prayer will never be answered, because it’s not made in the same dimension – at the same level.

** Which door then?

It’s the door to your heart, to your soul.

But is it physical? No, it’s by his word.

This means that my thoughts/my mind must be connected with what the Lord has said.

If I want the Lord to be in me through his word – I see the Lord just by referring to what he has said – I open up – and I simply ask him to fill me with his presence.

Rest assured, the Lord Jesus will.

Beloved, associating Jesus with an image makes our prayers weak because Jesus is spirit – he is the word.

John 14.

9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

Let’s not take his words lightly by putting more emphasis on the body – by imagining a man talking.

Beloved, at present Jesus no longer has a physical body, but is only spirit.

Philip saw Jesus physically, but he said to Philip – You see me – my size, my skin, my complexion, my shape… But you don’t know me.

To know Jesus is to know what he carries inside.

When he says something, it’s himself he’s letting out. So when He says something, you have to receive it, and then you’ll be connected to Him.

If you learn to keep his word, your life will never be the same.

Sometimes we block God without knowing it – that’s why we’re going to learn to open up so we don’t automatically block Him anymore.

Beloved, why would the Lord let you go from suffering to suffering – when Jesus His Son Himself suffered every kind of suffering for us? So there’s something that’s not clear.

We block God with our thoughts – rejecting His voice, rejecting His word… so He goes away.

Beloved, we must correct ourselves, we must no longer see two elements: The body, then the word, but only the word – receive fully what he says.

LET US PRAY →

Lord Jesus I need you

Fill me with your presence.

You’re inside me.

You’re excellent in me.

With you I’m strong.

In your name I am more than victorious.
