Apostle BILLEY.
Colossians 2:13; Romans 6:11; Galatians 2:20; 1 Peter 2:24-25; Romans 8:11; Ephesians 2:6; Colossians 2:12; Colossians 3:1; 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Passover is very important for humanity.
A person who has just given his life to the Lord understands very little in reality at first, but the Holy Spirit is there to help us.
Those who give their lives to the Lord must not stop there, for they have just entered a new kingdom, the Kingdom of God. In which, there’s the ministry of knowledge.
He must decide to take the time to learn. For this is what will enable the Christian to be victorious on earth before going to heaven.
The Lord Jesus said in John8. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Beloved, if Jesus delivers you, you will truly be delivered. [John 8.36]
It’s crucial to understand what’s going on. Walking with God is not physical but spiritual. This is the first thing to understand: we must perceive what God is saying through our spirit. Far from human wisdom, far from human analysis, but with spirit. Because we are spirits in a body.
It’s the spirit that animates and directs the body, not the other way around.
Many people know their bodies without really knowing who they are.
The real “you” is inside. Man looks at the appearance, but God looks at the spirit within.
Colossians 2
13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses ;
God the Father gives us life through His Son.
We need to grasp this in spirit and from there, this truth will begin to work in our lives.
When we declare Jesus is in me, it’s not words but because I see Him in spirit that I can say it.
But if you don’t see it but declare Jesus is in me, the devil will laugh at you.
God is invisible, you too are invisible. God is spirit, and you are spirit too.
The only difference between God and us is the body.
So anyone who relies on the body, on the material, cannot walk with God.
Romans 6
11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
How are you going to look at yourself? With the eyes of the heart, i.e. the eyes of the mind.
Here, for the world, I no longer exist, but I live for God. This is spiritual perception.
He who perceives this will have victory, and he who has victory will have double victory…
What is the difference between the following two people?
One will say to Satan: “God is with me”, but Satan will laugh.
And the other person will also say “God is with me” and the devil will be afraid.
Although these are the same phrases, the difference is God’s position in each person’s heart.
Consider this:
When we look at a person, we really see their creator. It is the Creator we must see before the creature.
Through His creature, you can see the power of God: for it is God who sustains it, who gives it strength, who makes it live and exist…
This means we must worship and bless the Lord through His creation.
This is how we must look at all things, we must look in spirit.
Romans 6
11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The Christian must therefore look at himself with the eyes of his heart, as dead to the world and living for God alone.
Without this spiritual perception, he cannot walk with God.
When you know who you are in relation to God, that’s when you’ll be victorious.
Your answers, your way of dealing with life will then be in relation to God’s presence in you.
For example, if we see a poorly-dressed person, we don’t look at their clothing, but we must look at what God has done in their life. That’s the way God sees it, and the way we should too.
And if you learn to walk like this, that is, in spirit, you’ll be able to defeat your 1,000-year-old enemies in a matter of seconds.
Because Truth, the connection with God, is powerful.
The moment the devil knows you know, he’ll back off, because connection with God is a connection of the spirit.
Galatians 2.
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Have you been physically crucified? Not humanly possible. But this is only possible in spirit.
If you perceive this verse with the natural side, it will be letter for you and you will not be able to do anything with this Word. You’ll be dominated. But if you perceive this Truth in spirit, you will dominate.
So what does this biblical passage mean?
That means when Christ died, you died with Him, and when He rose, you rose with Him.
So the life you have is a new life that you have to design in your mind.
Let’s take an example:
An envoy of the president calls a brother and says: “Hello, I’m calling on behalf of the president. Do you need work? Are you available? We have something to do, so if you come on Monday, I’ll show you what it is. Bye.”
Beloved, with what should this brother seize the appointment proposed to him?
He hasn’t gone to the rendezvous yet, but what happens in him from that moment on is what we call spirit.
In other words, he’ll start thinking, imagining: “Tomorrow I’m going to work for the presidency…”. That’s the spirit.
If he believes in what has been said, he will have joy. But if he doesn’t believe, he still won’t have joy, and that’s a spirit of doubt.
Brothers, it’s the same thing when God tells me that it’s Christ who lives in me now.
So I have to accept that and start seeing things that way.
Think about it, imagine it, and develop everything according to this truth.
This is how your soul will be freed, your connection with Jesus will be manifest, and you’ll be able to walk from victory to victory.
If God says “I am with you” to you
In your mind, you must see, for example: Jesus is with me, thank you Lord, I can talk to Him, …
Anyone who doesn’t see this is said to be spiritually blind. The one who sees has been “disavowed”.
Everyone wants to see Jesus physically, but He is spirit, He has no body. Inside you, in your spirit, you can communicate with Him, through what He has told you.
In Christianity, even a recent convert is powerful enough to drive the devil away. Because he doesn’t do it, Jesus does.
All you have to do is maintain your connection with Him and speak “in Jesus’ name”.
Jesus took away our sins, that’s why He was crucified. For the one who sins is the one who dies.
Jesus was crucified and resurrected on the3rd day. He paid the price in death. If Jesus were not the Son of God, He would have remained in the tomb.
So He took on sin, He was crucified. As He was just, He came back to life. He paid the price of all humanity in 3 days.
Since Jesus was crucified, does the sinner still have sin in him? No. He has been freed, redeemed.
Jesus took all his sins and went to the cross for him. The redeemed no longer needs to go to the cross himself.
You have to take it personally.
What, then, should be the quality of the relationship between Jesus and the redeemed?
A very strong, intimate relationship because He gave His whole life for you.
It’s when you let this light into your heart that you’re strong, that you can overcome sin.
It is through the cross and the blood of the cross that sin is destroyed.
1 Peter 2.
24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
Redeemed, Christ was crucified in your place. Your new life is the life of justice.
Humanly speaking, it all seems meaningless because it’s all spiritually rooted. This is walking with Christ.
Romans 8
11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Since sin has been removed, God’s Spirit can now live in you.
Ephesians 2
6 He raised us up together, and seated us together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
We weren’t there physically. But in preparation for my coming to earth, Christ died for me 2,000 years ago.
As soon as I perceive this, it becomes a reality for me.
Consider this:
You have debts, credit cards. And you’re told that all your cards have been paid for.
So what to do? Believe in it, because if I’m told that, then everything really has been sorted out. And start rejoicing.
This process is called meditation.
It is through this process that Christ enters us and the Holy Spirit baptizes us.
When Jesus went to the cross, was buried and resurrected, I was the one who went to the cross, was buried and resurrected. I have a new life.
My past is gone, all things have become new.
The word can only have an effect when I let it penetrate my heart.
Meanwhile, what’s the devil going to do?
He’ll come and breathe into your thoughts: ” Is it real? Don’t believe, …”
You have to chase it away because it will always try to confuse the truth.
Be firm and continue to confess the truth.
What should my mentality be as a redeemed person?
Thinking about God’s Word, living for Jesus, living in sanctification, …
Who’s ever had a good job but given it up? A job where you’re paid $11,000 a month, for example, and you can take 1 day off every other day each week at the same salary.
Nobody would give up on this kind of work.
Beloved, know Jesus, and you will never be able to separate yourself from Him.
Jesus’ love transcends money, transcends the whole world.
IN THE NAME OF JESUS, Let Us Pray… →
Lord Jesus, be my Lord and Savior
Forgive all my sins,
May your blood purge my spirit and my soul of all sin.
From now on, I’m a new person.
I’m alive in Jesus.
My past is gone.
It is no longer I who live, but Jesus who lives in me.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
