Apostle Billey.
God is spirit. An animal is not a spirit, so it cannot approach God.
But the Lord created us as spirits so that we could communicate with Him. And to manage everything He allows us to manage.
By opening our hearts, we’ll be able to know how sin works. And we will be able to overcome sin.
Sin is not a mystery. It’s not something that’s hard to pick up and throw away.
It happens in the inner man: the spirit and the soul. Sin is spiritual, but its fruits are physically visible.
Someone can sin in his heart through his thoughts, without his neighbor knowing, but God does. Thoughts are part of life.
It’s not impossible not to sin. We can separate ourselves from sin.
It’s the devil trying to make people think it’s impossible not to sin. It spreads the message by making you believe that the evil you’re in, you can’t get out.
Let’s not think it’s impossible to get through.
God holds the truth. And He’ll tell you that you can get out of the situation you’re in whenever you want.
There’s no serious situation Jesus can’t fix. There’s no complicated situation God can’t tackle; that’s why he’s called God.
Man was not created to be dominated by the world. But God created man to dominate the world.
The only person above man is God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
That’s why when we lost the glory through sin. God the Father sent His Son himself. He did not send an angel but His Son, who is God Himself.
At the natural level, at the level of foreign affairs, when a president wants to send a messenger; the messenger he sends depends on the greatness of the country, or the president he’s going to meet. Whoever does the job properly, whoever represents him best.
There’s a reason why it’s the Lord Jesus Himself who delivers us and shows us the way. It’s because of the quality in which God created us, because of what He put inside us.
Through everything we see, we can see the glory, the power of God.
God wants the eyes of our spirit to be always open. Seeing God’s works uplifts us and connects us to Him.
It’s very dangerous not to know the person you’re walking with.
The ability to know someone comes from God.
Man is spirit, soul and body. Our spirit is specialized in the things of God. The soul manages relationships and material things.
The real you is the spiritual being, the soul and the spirit.
Thoughts, consciousness, desires… must be constantly connected to God.
So, for example, when it comes to helping someone, I have to be quick to do so. And with a pure conscience.
Right now, there’s this spirit called AI (Artificial Intelligence) that comes with its technology, to do harm.
All those who do not know their spirit and soul, IA will take possession of them. It’s one of the instruments of humanity’s destruction before the end of time.
Some people receive dreams in spirit, and don’t ask the Holy Spirit for an explanation. But when they get up and go research AI on the internet. Others use artificial intelligence to find husbands, wives…
Man created the airplane, the car…
Who’s faster, the plane or the man? It’s the man. Because aircraft depend on people. The same applies to the car.
So how can we prostrate ourselves before these things? AI is no more intelligent than man.
AI is all the information they have gathered to manage things quickly. So how are people going to believe that AI is smarter than they are?
You can’t depend on objects. Use your intelligence, use the knowledge God has given you. And even if you have to use the computer, don’t think it’s smarter than you, or you’ll be insulting God without knowing it, blaspheming without realizing it.
Beloved, sometimes we go through difficult situations, as in the example of Job, who had everything to offend God, but refused and remained attached to God.
The material must not manipulate us.
Paul and Silas in Acts 16. They knew it was only their bodies that were chained, but their spirits were free.
Just as in the book of Daniel, we have the case of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed Nego.
Daniel 3
12 There are certain Jews whom you have set over the affairs of the province of Babylon: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego; these men, O king, have not paid due regard to you. They do not serve your gods or worship the gold image which you have set up.”
13 Then Nebuchadnezzar, in rage and fury, gave the command to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. So they brought these men before the king.
14 Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying to them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the gold image which I have set up?
God wants to deliver us from all compromise.
The three friends did not bow. Yet their honor, function and salary were linked to the king.
What would you have done in their place? Knowing that if you don’t adore this statue, you’ll lose all privileges.
It’s the same as choosing between the Bible and a million dollars.
Those who take the million-dollar check feel as if they’ve bowed down before the statue.
15 Now if you are ready at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, and you fall down and worship the image which I have made, good! But if you do not worship, you shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?” And who is the god who will deliver you from my hand?
King Nebuchadnezzar was filled with a spirit of pride that manipulated him. And that same spirit wanted to manipulate everyone.
Daniel 3
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
17 If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.
Were the three friends afraid?
No. Yet their lives were threatened. This means that they were aware that they are spirits and that the body is for a little while.
So they chose the good part, which is to be with God instead of idolaters.
18 But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”
Where did this determination come from? It’s not soul but spirit.
They acted with their spirits. They were determined.
It is this determination, linked to the spirit that has received the Word, that leads us to overcome the devil, to conquer problems.
It was like saying to Nebuchadnezzar: “Do you know who gave you life? And even this palace, do you know who gave you the strength to build it? Is it Him you have to worship! You want everyone to adore you, but heaven is ashamed of you. That’s not why God sent you to earth, but you’re deflecting God’s glory. No, I’m not going to worship you, and if you try to force me, you’ll see…”
Beloved, you must walk in the spirit. And the weakness of the flesh must not dominate you.
But often, in our time, some Christians, when they check their bank account and find that 5 dollars are missing. They’ll start crying that they’ve been robbed by the devil. But that’s just the material.
This is why we are spiritually weak.
When in reality, what God wants is for you to receive ten times more than your salary.
Those who are in spirit, learn to rejoice for the things they perceive in spirit. They’re ahead of their time. And when situations arise, they can’t be manipulated.
Daniel 3
21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their trousers, their turbans, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
They were in such a hurry to get rid of them, they threw them away just as they were.
Beloved, know that to frustrate your enemy, to defeat your enemy, you must do God’s will.
That’s how your enemy will be frustrated. And he’ll try to take other steps, but his steps will be those to his ruin.
25 “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
26 Then Nebuchadnezzar went near the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spoke, saying, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here.” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire.
Instead of seeing men crying in the fire, the king sees men walking freely.
Beloved, whoever knows how to walk in the spirit even if you have opponents at work, start blessing the Lord.
Then you’ll see that those who oppose you will see the glory of God in your life. And even God can use you to be their savior.
For the Gentiles to be reached, God needs us to walk in the spirit. And they’ll see that you’re different from the others.
You don’t have to be afraid of mountains, demons or what you hear…but know that you’re connected to God.
Some of us may go through similar things, like those three friends, Paul and Silas, Job…
But our testimony must be excellent; let’s not lean on the soul, let’s walk in the spirit.
When you hear, for example, that your child has had an accident. If you act with your soul, you’ll get scared. But with your spirit, you calm down, self-control is important. You need to be aware that God is with your child wherever he is. You declare that this situation is for the glory of God, so that your child may know Him. And you pray for him in a spirit of fearless faith. Because faith and fear are not friends, it’s one or the other.
It’s fear and doubt that work together. And when you go to pray for your child, you’ll be able to answer: “It’s true, he’s had an accident, but everything’s fine”.
Beloved, we are servants of God.
We cannot serve God without walking in the spirit. It’s just not possible.
David was anointed by God, but right after he got into trouble, someone rose up against him. God had seen, but it all served to strengthen David’s character.
Beloved, God will give, but it’s up to you to take. But there can be obstacles in the way. It’s the spirit you’re in that will keep you going. Courage is what gets you there. And when you arrive, you’ll see the glory of God.
The situation that was sad at first can become joyful if you know how to see in the spirit.
When did God deliver the three friends?
It was from the moment they took a firm stand for the Lord. (Daniel 3.17-18)
Let’s not be Christians who like it easy. Let us serve and adore one God.
We must have a regular and firm prayer life. Let’s resist the enemy.
As we stand on the Rock, let us reject compromise in order to give glory to God.
IN THE NAME OF JESUS, Let Us Pray… →
Lord Yahweh, You are my God
O Lord touch my life.
May Your light touch my spirit and soul.
May Your powerful hand guide me in all things.
I reject the spirit of the world and its compromises in the name of Jesus.
Lord, you alone are my God.
My spirit, my soul and my body belong to you.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
