The mind and the Word of God (continued n.10)

Lean on the Rock.

A rock is a very hard, consistent stone on which to build.

Any solid foundation must be built with rock. This foundation is usually invisible, but it’s what the house stands on.

In walking with God, this rock exists. It’s not physical, it’s spiritual.

Every Christian must base his prayer on the Rock.

If we understand how this works, we’ll move forward quickly with God.

Those who neglect their spiritual life will be weakened.

What’s standing on a rock?

It means relying on the Word of God revealed in us and praying.

So that’s the reason we’re asking – it’s called the rock.

When you stand on this word to pray, you stand on authority.

This is how Christians should pray.

On this rock, we can destabilize all the powers of darkness.

Let’s remember the example of a single brother who wants to get married – what will he say?

He’ll talk – and tell the sister, I want to marry you.

** If this brother doesn’t say anything – if he doesn’t speak – or if the sister doesn’t speak. Nothing’s going to happen.

But when he speaks, if his proposal comes from his heart, it will be received in the sister’s heart.

In this way, his word leaves his heart and enters the sister’s heart.

This is how the brother enters the sister – through her word.

She will keep the brother’s word within her.

That’s why Jesus is in us through His Word in us.

** And what’s more, after hearing/receiving this brother’s word, the sister will then feel: joyful/content – full of confidence, she will feel loved, considered, she feels visited, she will be strong….

She will begin to see herself as a bride through the eyes of her heart. She’s about to be delivered from the spirit of celibacy…

What gave him all that?

Is this the man’s body? No – it’s the word.

If the brother goes home, will the effect of his word end up in the sister’s heart?

No – and in the same way we must keep God’s word in our hearts.

So what will this sister’s foundation be? Will she or must she lose this?

The foundation of his joy will be his brother’s word. Despite the fact that, physically, the marriage isn’t yet complete.

** And when she meets another sister.

She’s going to talk about it, based on the brother’s word received in her heart, to share her joy with her friend.

She therefore leans on the rock.

What can she do with these words?

Pray based firmly on this word.

If she loses this word, she will lose its joy, its faith…

When a person is weak, it’s because he or she has lost the Word of God.

What should I do in this case? You have to bring the word back into yourself.

Jesus is the Word. And this Word is your strength, your authority.

When God visits you through his word, you have to have your eyes on it, don’t lose that.

Matthew 16

17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

Simon is happy/ blessed from the moment he receives something within himself: the Word!

Jesus said, it’s my Father in heaven who has revealed this to you, what you’ve just said. Blessed are you!

So what is the blessing?

It means receiving God’s revelation within us.

God’s way is not man’s way.

Those who are not on God’s path are unhappy.

Simon received the revelation that Jesus is more than a prophet, more than the son of Joseph, more than the son of David…

Mathieu 16.

18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

What’s the rock here? This is the word revealed by God to Peter.

The revealed Word is our connection with God.

And the true Church of Christ is built on the rock, on the Word.

These are not prophecies. They may reveal things, but they don’t build things.

They inform you but don’t position you on the rock.

But those who have the Word can live for eternity, for the Word is eternal.

Beloved, we must worship God.

1 Corinthians 6

20 For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

If I receive this word truly in my heart, I will rejoice.

For I no longer belong to the enemy, I no longer belong to this world, but to Jesus.

I am Jesus’ property.

My foundation is on rock.

Why should we worship God?

Because it’s our rock, we belong to Him.

And even when I’m going through a difficult situation, I have to stand on the rock.

You must resist the enemy’s words. If you’re threatened like the prophet Elijah by Jezebel.

You must reply to Jezebel: “Since you threatened me, my owner will cut off your head!”

Beloved, the rock gives victory.

** Consider this, if someone loses his phone. And because the phone belongs to him, he goes looking for it. He’s going to search everywhere.

So whenever the devil touches something that belongs to God, Jesus intervenes.

Every time the enemy comes to create problems for you, because you belong to Jesus, He’ll take action!

Brother, sister – No arrow will reach you because you belong to Jesus.

Beloved, lean on the rock, and pray firmly with conviction in every place and at every time, day and night!
