Apostle BILLEY.
1 Corinthians 15.22
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
This Word can be only the letter for the Christian, then there will be no transformation, until who has revelation in his spirit.
The Word is invisible.
Man is made up of a spirit, a soul/heart and a body.
The spirit and soul/heart are in the body. They’re invisible. When we end our days on earth, the spirit and soul leave the body.
This is not the physical heart, but the breath of life or soul.
It’s in the heart that the old man often develops.
The old man is the mindset, the concept, the way we receive from the world that affects the heart, the understanding and that fights against the spirit in man.
This paralyzes both, soul and spirit because they can no longer walk, they are in an atmosphere of sin.
This is why Jesus said in Matthew 9.4 And Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, Why do you have evil thoughts in your hearts?
A person who has lived in the world, has developed desires for worldly things, sensuality, and all that is around …in his heart.
But it’s the heart that manages the body, that knows what the body needs, that uses the body. When the body is hungry, it’s the heart that says it’s hungry. So he’ll feed it, but according to what it (the heart) likes. How we dress is up to the heart. Pleasure lies in the heart.
The power to manipulate the body lies in the heart.
Then the devil connects to the heart to influence it and thus have the body. For where the body is, so are the soul and spirit.
When Jesus speaks, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. [Mark 14.38]
What is this flesh? It’s the heart connected to the body.
That’s why the new birth is spirit first. The spirit has to take charge, it has to be born again. And when it’s connected to the Word, it will influence the heart and the heart will submit to the spirit. So, as soon as the heart submits to the spirit, the heart is delivered, and the spirit becomes strong. Both, soul and spirit, will have the same agenda.
And when this is so, the body, which is the temple of God, (where the spirit and soul are), will therefore be connected to the Word, and will go from glory to glory.
This is spiritual technology.
1 Corinthians 15.22
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
What is life?
Life is spiritual.
Jesus came with His blood and His word.
The blood will cleanse the sin in the spirit, heart and body.
But if Jesus leaves the Christian like that, he’ll go back to the old thinking, mindset.
That’s why Jesus equips it with His Word, which is Life, Power, …
Which means that when Jesus speaks: the Christian must open his spirit to receive, and when he receives, then the heart will also be well disposed.
This is how the soul stops doing worldly things. There will be God’s love in spirit and soul.
And as long as the Christian listens to the Word and prays, he will be victorious.
Every time we receive bad thoughts, it’s because someone is knocking on the door of your heart, which contains your thoughts, your imagination…
We must beware of ideas and suggestions that seek to draw us away from God’s Word and holy things.
We need to be self-controlled, to control ourselves to choose the Lord’s way, to pray.
So we must remember the Word with our spirits and declare this with our hearts.
Assume the following:
A young Christian goes out and sees a young sister. His heart will see the sister and make him desire her. Now, his spirit desires the Word, but his heart wants to covet the sister. A struggle may set in until he decides that because I belong to Jesus, I drive sin away from me. Spirit and heart must be united.
Or else:
You’re praying and while you’re praying, your heart starts to look at people. So what happens next?
Your heart will be distracted, will imagine, think about the things people do while your spirit wants to pray.
And as long as your thoughts are distracted inside, it’s not going to help your spirit, until you decide to align the two together (your heart and your spirit). By deciding, for example, to close your eyes.
Jesus redeemed you completely so you’re a new man with your spirit, your soul, even your body.
For your spirit, soul and body belong to Jesus. Nothing is yours.
That’s the mindset we need to have.
The body can’t move until the soul gives permission to move.
That’s why the Lord says we live by the Spirit and walk by the Spirit.
Why?
So that we don’t fulfill the desires of the flesh through the heart, the thoughts.
Distraction comes from thoughts, from the heart.
Satan and the world target the soul. Ads are made for you to watch. It’s to target the soul so that you decide something about it.
Yet these ads are always body-centric. And they know they can’t get you to buy anything without capturing your soul. The body doesn’t see, it’s the heart that sees.
We must be careful to surrender our spirit and soul to the Lord.
Whenever you have bad desires, bad thoughts or imaginations, know that they come from your heart.
Thoughts, imagination, desires…are in the heart. There’s human thought and divine thought.
Then we must bring the spirit to grasp the Word, and so must the heart to submit to the Word. This is how you become one with Jesus, in your body, which is His temple. From that moment on, you are victorious through the Word and prayer.
1 John 3.
14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.
You have passed from death to life through the Lord Jesus, who went to the cross and shed his blood to save you.
You belong to Jesus. If you bring sin into your life, Jesus won’t be able to stay in you because He’s holy, unless you repent.
Sin is mortal. Now that you have repented, keep your body holy for Jesus, keep your mouth, your eyes, your ears … holy for Jesus. Don’t go back into the mud of sin.
And even take control of everything around you through prayer, standing on the Rock.
IN THE NAME OF JESUS, Let Us Pray… →
I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus.
I belong to Jesus.
In Jesus’ name, I renounce sin and all worldly attractions.
I have risen together with Jesus.
I am free because of the blood of Jesus.
I am strong.
Jesus is in me.
I am delivered from the influence of darkness.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
