The righteous are those who are saved and walk in God’s ways. He uses all his spiritual weapons; he is filled with the Spirit of God. The Lord can use him.
Psalm 55:18
Evening and morning and at noon, I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice.
The minimum requirement for a Christian is to pray three times a day.
Daniel 6.
10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.
Daniel used to pray three times a day. He was thrown into the lions’ den. And the Lord delivered him from it.
Our prayer life is essential. We must not let the enemy take this away from us.
A man who went on to become a doctor did not begin his doctoral studies after completing his master’s degree. But in reality, he began his medical studies as early as kindergarten.
Similarly, when a Christian is converted, their spiritual growth begins.
Those who figure it out early on won’t waste any time. Don’t overlook your humble beginnings. Let the Lord shape you. Work—don’t waste time.
Whenever God asks you to do something, do it. That’s where its charm lies.
In the Book of Daniel, chapter 2, Nebuchadnezzar had a dream and was seeking an explanation. It was Daniel who explained the dream to the king.
There was a need, so Daniel was the solution
For David, it was the same thing—there was a need. God needed a king. He saw the one whose heart was open to learning. Where there’s a need, there’s an opportunity.
Are there needs in this world? Yes.
Anyone who sees God’s heart for humanity will also see the opportunity. Your brother and sister need God. The sinners/pagans you meet need Jesus. And you need to tell him about the Lord. This is how we deepen our relationship with the Lord by responding to His call.
It all starts with being faithful to God. And your training begins with the conversion.
Beloved, come to prayer meetings, come to church early, intercede… You must do everything you can to make time for God.
James 5
16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
We are spirits. We must commit ourselves to prayer.
The minimum requirement for a Christian is to pray three times a day.
And to do that, one must always hold onto the truth in one’s heart, in the temple. We need to list all the prayer points.
Then, for example, when you pray to thank the Lord, you must necessarily have proof or a sense of certainty in your heart—that is, you must know why you are thanking Him.
When it comes to repentance, it is absolutely essential to remember a truth from God—what He has said about repentance. Even if you haven’t memorized the verse, you should know what God says about this and pray accordingly. Then the Lord will forgive you.
Generally speaking, when we pray for someone, we should picture them in our hearts, in the temple.
Throughout the prayer, you must visualize the person in the temple, even if they are standing right in front of you.
Examples of prayer points:
- For a child, spouse, sibling, or parent:
Give thanks to God for him, place the child’s soul in the Lord’s hands, may his soul be sanctified, may everything that has been taken over by the kingdom of darkness be destroyed, may the blood of Jesus remove all the world’s influence from his soul, pray that any confusion sown in the child’s soul be annulled in the name of Jesus, that his star be protected, that he not be corrupted by rebellion, and then bless him.
The Holy Spirit will guide you.
- For the home:
Pray against any negative influence, any division, and any disagreement. Pray for God’s glory, for harmony, for a life of prayer, for love, and for unity. You must ask for forgiveness for everything that has been said or done in the home that is not of God, and sanctify the home by faith with the blood of Jesus.
Pray to ward off any negative intrusion into the home (use prayer to seal the walls, roof, and floor so that they become walls of fire, preventing evil spirits from entering).
- For the family:
When you pray for your family. For example, to hold in one’s mind the truth that all families belong to God. (Ephesians 3:14)
So stand on this foundation and pray, for example: “Lord, this family belongs to You. May Your hand be upon each one, may Your presence be with each one…”
- For work:
So, you need to apply a truth to your work; for example, the Lord says that the work of our hands should be blessed.
So remember that promise and pray for your work.
- For your health:
If you have a health problem. Remember what the Lord did on the cross. He exposed the power of the disease.
In your heart, you reflect on this, and you say, for example: “Lord, by Your wounds, I am healed.” “In Your name, I cast out this disease from this body…”
Or consider this truth: your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit; it does not belong to you. Give your body to God.
You regard your body as belonging to the Lord, and you pray: “Lord, this body is Your temple, but it is sick; may the power of Jesus’ blood heal this body…”
And you will see God’s power heal this body.
There is power in the name of Jesus.
What belongs to God and what belongs to God are two different things.
What belongs to you is weak. What belongs to God is protected.
If you see yourself as God’s possession, then you become a victor. It’s a choice.
And as children of God, we must always choose God’s side.
Also note:
- Never pray in vain. You should always take the obvious choice. Base your actions on what God has said. The most interesting part is that a single verse—a single truth—can address several topics.
- You can always correct whatever is going on inside you while you pray.
You are a human being, not a machine. You are connected to God, so whether you’re at home or elsewhere, as you pray, you can make the necessary adjustments to align yourself with God.
If you correct others according to God’s will, He will pour out even more of His anointing on you.
Adjusting is like pumping air into a flat tire or adding salt while cooking a dish, based on how it tastes.
When it comes to prayer, for example, instead of focusing on prayer, you find yourself thinking about work, laundry, food…
The Lord is waiting for you to turn your thoughts back to Him. By doing this, you will be aligning yourself with God.
Know that the Lord wants both your mind and your heart as you pray. He doesn’t want you to worry.
So while you’re praying, don’t let worries fill your heart. Give this to him. How do you do it?
By talking to Him about all the burdens you’re carrying. Lay all your worries at his feet. Matthew 11:28.
After pouring out your heart, you confidently expect Him to act.
- As you pray, you can move from one topic to another, knowing that Jesus is the solution to all these situations or needs. Because you may have several needs. And you must know the Lord’s power. Who is Jesus to you?
So, you have to see Him in your heart as the one who can solve every specific problem.
In other words, I can switch from one topic to another without any trouble because there is nothing the Lord cannot do.
Some people pray like this: “Lord, You know everything about me; help me.” Then they leave.
No, it shouldn’t be like that. God needs to communicate with you. You have to have a relationship with Him.
Beloved, take the time to talk to the Lord. He wears many hats. Sometimes you can turn to Him as your Father, or as the God who loves you, as your Creator, as the One who anoints you…
- Know that God wants to spend time in intimacy with you. He doesn’t want you to think about anything else while you’re praying. Because He loves you—He is a jealous God.
- Always know how to begin a prayer. Don’t forget how to begin your prayer: by holding a truth in your heart, in your temple. The revelation of the Word is the key. Matthew 16
Beloved, if you put all this into practice, your prayer will grow in power. Your prayer life will be transformed.
