Apostle Billey.

Ps 91.

1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

We are spirits. So to dwell under the shelter of the Most High is not to dwell under the sun or in a man-made house.

But it is to dwell in the house that He Himself made. And when we are in this house, we are in His refuge.

And this meeting place, in the heart, is where it all happens.

It’s the place where we communicate with God. It’s the place where you can talk to Him at any time.

The secret place is a blessing for every human being.

But for the pagan, this secret place is dirty because it’s in the hand of darkness. For when they go out they are already sinning in their thoughts, imaginations, desires…

The fall of man consists in deviating from God’s path. When we say that a man has fallen, we mean that he is no longer in the position the Lord put him in. And this position in which the person finds himself, causes him to develop attitudes that have nothing to do with the original position God had put him in. This is the sinful nature.

Keeping communion with God throughout the day is what we must do continually.

Christians who fail to do this have not understood their identity. But it is the flesh that fights the spirit. So that means he’s dominated by the flesh, and doesn’t want to reclaim the level Jesus graciously opened up for him.

The Lord is within us, we are God’s temple, the place where we meet God is within us.

So when we leave the house, we’re always with the Lord. So we must learn to talk to Him at all times, even as we go about our business.

This is how we dwell under the shelter of the Most High.

Consider this testimony:

Armed robbers broke into a brother’s home to not only steal but also harm him.

While the brother was in his living room, these thieves broke in and started searching the house.

But they couldn’t see it. They haven’t seen him, or even heard him.

How did he find out? For the thieves spoke and said, “He’s not here, not even in the bedroom…”

That’s how he realized they couldn’t see him.

But still, the brother was in the living room.

What happened? He was under God’s wings. The Lord covered his life. And since his body is God’s temple, even the outside belongs to God.

Consider this: when you’re in a house, you’re going to maintain and protect the house. But if you’re not in the house, how can you do it?

So God is within us, protecting us, guarding us. And we are blessed, for the house in which God is found can only be blessed.

Psalm 27

1 From David. The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?

4 One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple.

5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle, He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.

It’s not the sky that needs protection, it’s us.

So the light must be in us. And God sustains our lives.

Fear develops in the soul. And it’s an element of darkness.

But if God, the One who is light, is in the heart, how can fear develop in it? This is not possible.

Beloved, communion with God must be continuous.
