Apostle Billey.

Genesis 1

26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over [g]all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Man was created in the image of God so that we could dominate.

Spirit and soul form the spiritual body.

This spiritual body within each of us is invisible, and it is this body that walks with God, and which the Holy Spirit directs.

He feeds on what comes from God, from the Word of God.

When you meditate on the Word, you nourish the inner man, who becomes strong.

So every Christian needs to know how to listen to the Word, in order to be able to understand and accept it.

Whoever does so will be strengthened. But there’s one last step, and that’s to practice this Word.

It is from this stage that the soul and spirit will be able to produce much fruit when the Christian practices: peace, joy, faithfulness, kindness, adoration of God, faith…

Such a person can only be blessed and attract blessing because his soul eats blessing.

For everything belongs to God. If you ask God to bless you, but you see things in your life that don’t honor God, you won’t be blessed.

But the person who has heard the Word and has the desire to practice, when God sees that, if only the desire, God will begin to bless that person.

And that kind of person, their blessing can’t be taken away.

That’s why those who have hatred in their hearts, who gossip, …all this is dangerous and attracts the curse.

The body is not life. Material is not life.

Life is a person – God.

The body can do nothing without the soul. For it is the soul that manages all material and all relationships.

Flesh is when the soul manages relationships and material things according to its own wisdom, its own experience and not according to God. The soul belongs to God.

And the soul manages relationships and the material through the body.

So, when the Christian uses his soul to insult someone, or to steal, or to commit fornication…Then that Christian is said to be carnal. And if he lives that way, he can’t succeed with God, he can’t have victory.

It’s true that this Christian will have used his body, but it was the soul that made the decision. So the problem is not with his body, but with his soul.

We need to understand how it all works so we know how to do it and have victory every day.

For example, if during the day, you see that your soul is sighing towards sin, that there is a sinful desire in relation to a person or something material.

It’s that this evil desire is in your heart, and the heart is using desire and will to be able to commit evil.

We know that in the world, for example, it means accepting that a man can have several wives. And vice versa. Or that it’s normal to drink alcohol.

But when we come to Christ, the program or mentality of the world that is in the soul must be erased.

So the soul program that loved alcohol, pornography, fornication, anger, the wisdom of man … must be destroyed. You have to give all this up.

How do you know that this program has been destroyed in your soul?

For example, the day they give you the beer, and you’re no longer interested, then the programma will have been destroyed.

As for demonic sexual attraction, pornography, …

Beloved, we must renounce our own agenda, pride, self-interest…to take on God’s agenda. We come to Jesus to be saved.

What we love in our hearts, that’s what holds us back, that’s our problem.

Man’s problem lies within himself. And when it moves, it moves with the problem. Because this problem is within him, it’s linked to the inner man.

If the problem is solved, the person will be delivered.

When you’re a Christian, you don’t cherish your old character.

If, for example, you meditate on the story of the adulterous woman, you must see yourself as capable of acting like her. It’s a state of humility so that you can cry out to God to deliver you from all weakness.

A man’s heart is tortuous, full of programs from the past: I like round women, miss women, I like men who do this…

We need to be humble and understand what God is saying so that we can break out of this diabolical pattern.

The heart is not evil, because God has a heart, Jesus has a heart. So our hearts simply have to be connected to our Father God.

We have Jesus as our model, and we can see how He lived on earth and imitate Him. We even have the example of Paul who let God transform his heart and many others…

If this truth is not understood, even though the Christian may have been converted for years, he will still fall, fail.

Beloved, look at what you love, and renounce what is not of God.

Check your heart: if there’s nothing materialistic in you, if there’s something dirty in your relationships…

For example, if you’ve ever regretted marrying your partner: “I want my wife to be smart like so many others, I want my wife to dress like so many others, I regret it because my husband never gave me this or that, …”.

All these reasons are a function of our selfish desires.

Beloved, as long as these things are in your heart, if you don’t remove them, it will mean that every time you see a woman dressed as you like… you will be attracted to her, and your heart will become a trap against eternal life.

We must bring our hearts to submit to God. It’s what God wants.

Our value is not clothes, it’s not gold, but it’s what we put into ourselves that comes from God.

There’s nothing God can’t do. What blocks us are our ways, our desires, what we want to keep… But God is the Potter of our lives.

We have to let God transform us.

How can you come to Jesus, but when it’s time to pray, you put it off and decide to do your hair? Or it’s a fast day, but we’re bored with it and decide not to do it.

And in the end, full of ourselves, full of pride, we don’t change, and stay in our difficult situations. Yet Jesus is there.

Let us be humble, as time passes; Let us not resist God’s grace.

** What should we do?

Matthew 5

8 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

The heart must manage relationships and material things according to God.

For my heart is the place where I meet God.

For example, if my brother does something to me that offends me, and I feel anger, resentment, …against my brother then my heart will be impure. And if my heart is unclean, I will not be able to see God; And this until I repent.

So, now that I know that my heart must remain pure, I must be careful about what I have in my heart, I must watch over my heart so as not to leave anything impure.

But in the world, if someone offends you, you mustn’t let it happen.

But as a Christian, I have to be aware that I am of God so I have to guard my heart from all evil, so I forgive. It doesn’t diminish me, but it keeps me in touch with God.

2 Thessalonians 3

5 This means that the heart must be directed toward God.5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

This means that the heart must be directed toward God.

With God’s strength, as I know I am with God, I must direct my heart to God’s love. To the point where I’m not angry with my brother, I’m patient with him.

Consider this case study:

You’re going to probe into your heart, and pick out and look at a person who has offended you, or a person who irritates you, who has betrayed you…

Once you see this person, you ask the Lord for forgiveness, quote the person’s name, and pour yourself out before the Lord. Then you forgive that person…

Beloved, the heart must be pure, let’s work to purify it. Let’s not deceive ourselves, let’s not justify ourselves, in relationships we need to free people and forgive.
