Apostle Billey

Ephesians 6. 11-18

Ever since Adam sinned, things haven’t been the same.

This world has been a world at war for thousands of years. And the battle is spiritual. It happens in our minds.

Man is 100% spirit. He uses his body, but it’s not part of him

When he goes to heaven, he leaves his body behind on earth. It is the spiritual being who goes to heaven, and it is he who creates all things and who fights.

Those who are in hell were defeated in that battle. And those in heaven have won the war.

Every decision we make brings us closer to our destination each day—whether it’s the kingdom of God or the other side.

That is why God has given us powerful weapons. If we use them, we’ll win.

Darkness, too, has its weapons. When you’re attacked, you have to fight back.

Among God’s weapons are: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, the sword of the Spirit, the shoes of the gospel of peace, prayer, and perseverance.

We also have other spiritual weapons from God in the Word that strengthen the inner person. [ Ephesians 3:16 ]

Ps 91.

5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,

When someone is discouraged, anxious, depressed, sad at heart, contemplating suicide, or feeling listless, confused, angry, or afraid…

These are the signs of an attack. These are arrows fired from the kingdom of darkness.

Some illnesses are not ordinary; their cause is spiritual. Sometimes it is a devil’s arrow aimed at a person’s spirit—especially the soul—that has rebounded into the body.

It is important for Christians to use their weapons. To pray with power and strength.

The power lies in the voice.

At the mention of Jesus’ name, the devil is destroyed. That’s why he doesn’t want you to pray.

Prayer is a very effective weapon against loneliness, fear… against everything negative.

Ps 91.

6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

They are spirits of sickness, affliction, and contamination.

For example, the coronavirus comes from hell. It was mainly out of ignorance that so many were killed. And they still haven’t found a cure.

We’ve taken numerous tests, even just to be able to get around and travel.

These are demons that are currently plaguing the world with fear.

That’s contamination striking in broad daylight.

By praying, you will triumph over all of this; you will not be harmed

Psalm 91

7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.

8 Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.

This is God’s promise to His children. We mustn’t be afraid.

During the coronavirus pandemic, people acted out of fear. People were rejected, pushed away, and kept at a distance out of fear of death: spouses, friends, brothers and sisters…

This led to a lot of things being done remotely, even church services; many services were held online.

Although that period has passed, many people continue to worship remotely. As a result, some churches have been closed.

Fear has swept across the world. In fact, many vaccine doses have already been rolled out around the world.

The Christian life is not a work of fiction. Jesus says not to be afraid; learn not to be afraid.

Otherwise, when faced with times of distress, you will be afraid because you have not stayed on Jesus’ path.

You must be a steadfast Christian who walks by faith, using the weapons at your disposal. God’s weapons are capable of destroying disease, its power, its effects, and the virus…

The name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus… are powerful. God is able to protect us from any calamity.

Genesis 3

1.Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. He said to the woman: Did God really say: You shall not eat of every tree in the garden?

2 The woman answered the serpent: We eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden.

3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ”

4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.

What do you call that?

The lie. That’s spreading falsehoods.

It is a powerful weapon from the realm of darkness. They use this to destabilize.

Eve then ate the fruit from the tree and fell; she died.

It all happened on a spiritual level.

Lying is therefore a spiritual weapon of darkness.

Has anyone ever stepped on you? How did you feel?

Probably discouraged, dejected, angry, and longing for revenge…

In this context, we say that the person fell. Even though the person is alive, people say that he or she is dead.

Genesis 3

5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

The serpent knew that there was no such thing as being God.

On the serpent’s side, we can see: envy, jealousy, hatred… directed against man.

When a Christian has all these things within them, what does that mean?

That he was struck by an attack—an arrow from the devil. As a result, the person began to exhibit the devil’s nature.

That’s what war is all about. The devil wants humanity to have its own nature.

Yet God created us so that we might share in His nature: love, generosity, kindness, peace, joy, promoting unity, helping one another…

When Satan fell, he began to attack humankind.

Yet God had already equipped man with all His weapons.

The serpent began recruiting by unleashing its weapons against humanity. He seeks to subjugate people so that they will belong to his kingdom.

How does he do it?

For example, he might say to someone, “Did you know that your friend doesn’t like you, that he criticizes you?”

What will happen in this person’s heart? Hate.

That is how the devil will have succeeded in taking control of a person.

Beloved, if you see discouragement, depression, or fear within yourself…

Take that off right away—it’s not for you. Refuse to coexist with these spirits.

And have a spirit of boldness—the spirit of Jesus.

Genesis 3.

6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for eating and pleasing to the eye, and that it was precious for opening the mind, she took of its fruit and ate; she also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate.

So who’s the taller one, after all? Who is in charge of the other?

The serpent, because it had taken possession of Eve.

Beloved, flee from sin and live a life of holiness.

There are several weapons of darkness that we must therefore be aware of.

a) Pride

The first sin is the sin of pride. That is why Satan lost his place in heaven.

For example, when the devil shoots the arrow of pride, the person begins to develop pride.

Then the devil will begin to rule over that person.

A man submits to the one he obeys. Whoever sins is a slave to sin.

That’s how the devil goes about ensnaring humanity.

b) Lying
c) Doubt
d) Greed
e) Evil Desires
f) Hypocrisy
(g) Defamation
h) Gossip

If you see someone spreading gossip, it means they’ve been attacked, then brainwashed, and are now working for the devil.

My beloved, do not spread what you do not know or are not certain of.

(i) Intimidation. Let’s remember that at one point during the COVID-19 pandemic, you had to get vaccinated in order to travel. The prayers of several groups of pastors had a powerful effect in warding off this intimidation.

Jesus is coming back soon.

Stop listening to the bad news. Read your Bibles and pray for the nation.

The Lord needs prayer warriors so that the nations may be saved.

j) Envy
k) Anger
(l) The charges
m) Treachery
(n) Reviews
o) Slander: Slander sounds pleasant to the ear.

If someone calls you to slander you, you’ll tend to add something for yourself.

Watch out—this is colonization. Let’s not work for the devil.

p) Hate
q) Jealousy,
r) Distraction
(s) Impatience

For example, if a person is not married. He’ll come over and say to you, or remind you: “It’s been a long time now, and you’re still not married. And then you’ll start to think about it. Yes, it’s true—all my younger sisters and brothers are married, but I’m not…”

The moment you start thinking about it, you’ll lose your resolve. The devil speaks to destroy.

Then, he’ll send you the person he’s chosen for you to marry.

Or another example: an accountant at a company. The devil said to him

“Ever since you started working for other people, you haven’t had enough money; you haven’t built anything yet; all your coworkers have already built something. You can take the money because you work hard.”

He’ll do everything he can to stir up impatience, then desire, then lust…

And as soon as the person accepts this, he brings them into his realm.

That is the technology of sin.

(t) Afflictions.
u) Sadness

v) Feeling rejected
w) Solitude
x) The refusal to forgive
y) Greed
z) Oppression

(aa) Discouragement
bb) Lust: There are people who will only shop at designer stores.

The devil created everything that is false. Fake nails: there are even fake hairpieces and wigs for men. There are husbands who seem nice at first; then they show their true colors and reveal their true character. Someone bought some medicine at the pharmacy, and it turned out to be cornstarch. It wasn’t until later that the scam was discovered.

cc) Gluttony
dd) Ignorance

As a Christian, you should invest in knowledge in your life. Hosea 4:6

Knowing God saves us and gives us power over the devil.

Beloved, when you notice these things, they are attacks. It’s because a demon just shot at you, or attacked you with a dagger or a sword. You don’t feel it physically.

These are spiritual weapons.

Jesus came and empowered us. He gives us the strength to overcome these demons.

When a Christian uses the weapons of God, the devil cannot approach him the way he does with other people.

What is the basis of the weapons of darkness?

For example, defamation: Where does the person have to be in order to commit defamation?

Pride and lies are the basis / foundation of all these weapons of darkness.

Beloved, if you let go of pride and clothe yourself in humility to follow Jesus.

And if you embrace the Truth—which is the word of God—instead of lies, then all these weapons (arrows and swords) of darkness will crumble.

IN THE NAME OF JESUS, let us pray… →

Lord Jesus, You are my Lord.

I admit that I fell.

Forgive me for every time I have been taken over by the serpent.

I reject the devil’s lie.

Lord Jesus, I humble myself and surrender to You.

May Your truth fill me.

Equip me with all of God’s weapons so that I may use them at any time

I declare that I am more than a conqueror.

Because I belong to Jesus.

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
