Romans 6.2
2 Certainly not! We who have died to sin, how can we still live in sin?
Beloved, a Christian must wake up very early in the morning to pray in preparation for the day, as well as praying late into the night, but also during the day, finding time for spontaneous prayer.
When you drive, take a few minutes to pray; when you return from your various activities, take time to pray.
Prayer is very important in the life of a Christian.
Jesus is coming back soon, so we must guard our hearts against any offense, any accusation, any message from the kingdom of darkness.
Indeed, as we know, there are 3 places: heaven, earth and hell.
And Jesus tells us that while we on earth have given him our lives, we no longer belong to ourselves.
The Lord Jesus redeemed us at a great price; we belong to him.
Those who are for Jesus must therefore live for Him.
Each one of us must situate ourselves in relation to the Word of God.
Your soul belongs to Jesus. He’s the only one who can save you. He’s the shepherd.
It’s not an organization that saves you, it’s not the pastor…It’s Jesus alone.
What Jesus said is what happens.
What a man says, if it doesn’t come from God, it’s not going to happen.
So, for someone to be saved, they have to come to Jesus.
This is why the role of every pastor is to lead every person to love Christ, to know Him, to encourage every Christian to be totally dependent on Christ and independent of this world.
Beloved, the person you need to know is Jesus Christ through His word.
Romans 6.2
2 Certainly not! We who have died to sin, how can we still live in sin?
Which means that on earth, there’s our past and our present.
When we were pagans, that was our past. But from the moment we have given our lives to Christ, it is our present and our future.
We must not mix all this up, but be firm and adamant for Jesus.
Colossians 1
19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell ;
20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
The Son came to earth to reconcile us with the Father. This means that all those who refuse Jesus can never go to heaven.
Don’t let the organizations of this world fool you. But we must refer to the Word of God.
Reconciliation with God begins on earth, eternity begins on earth.
Beloved, let us not waste our time on the trivialities of this world, but because of the excellence of the gospel, we must run to Christ every day.
It is through the gospel that everything is possible, not outside it.
Colossians 3.3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God
This verse is about people who are still on earth. It’s about us.
We died, but now our real life is hidden with Christ.
When we accept Jesus as Lord on earth, Jesus gives us his life and forgives us our sins and their consequences.
The consequence of sin is going to hell; This implies that those in hell have refused the grace offered by the Lord Jesus.
But those who walk with Jesus, his life is in them. New life doesn’t come from them, but from Jesus: it’s a mystery.
Beloved, you gave your old dirty life to Jesus: that life of corruption, lies, adultery, immorality, selfishness, jealousy, wickedness…
Then Jesus received your dirty life and gave it to you.
So now I have a new life.
So I don’t have to do anything with my new life that belongs to Jesus.
My state of mind changes, my mentality changes and I now consider my new life in Christ.
All those who accept this, from this moment on, will begin to grow spiritually.
They will no longer be at the level of compromise.
Compromise is in a person’s life when they haven’t yet understood. And /Or when she hasn’t made a decision yet.
However, if you’ve understood that your old life is gone and your new life is hidden with Christ in God then not only will you grow, but you’ll have victory over sin, over hell, over adversity, over death!
At this level, the Christian is already dead, he cannot die twice, and his life is the life of Christ.
So at all times, it’s Christ’s life, at home, at work, in the car…
What will he do, for example, when faced with people who offend him? He’ll forgive them.
This is what we call sanctification.
Consider this:
A brother who made serious mistakes, had an accident. He was in a coma and died for 2 or 3 minutes.
By the time he died, the pain was gone and he felt as good as he ever had. And He was filled with great love.
But after a while, he felt a force pulling him down, and as it went on, his joy disappeared, along with the love inside him.
He arrived in a place where people were crying, shouting, lamenting and asking God for forgiveness, asking for a second chance.
An angel appeared to him and said, the Lord has sent me so that you may see what happens after your time on this earth, when you refuse grace.
This is what happens when you refuse grace.
Go and tell everyone what you’ve seen, and tell them that just as the earth is real, so is hell. And heaven is more real than anything else.
And the Lord allowed him to see a young man in his twenties.
He asked him what had happened to make him come to this place. He was so surprised because this young man had the Bible. It was so contradictory.
The angel replied that this young man was going to church, but unfortunately, he wasn’t following instructions, but in reality, he was doing what he wanted.
The fire consumed the young man’s body like ashes. And after a few seconds, his body was back in shape, maggots were gnawing at him, he was crying, fire was tearing his arm off.
But his arm kept growing back, and it went on and on…
And the brother heard the voice of Jesus saying, “I went to the cross for him, so that he wouldn’t pay for his sins, in hell; I went to the cross to pay for his sins, so that everything that was to send him to hell would be erased…”
Then the angel said to the brother, when you arrive on earth: “Live as you should, because you won’t get a second chance”.
And that’s how this brother had the grace to come out of his coma, and come back to life, to tell us these things.
The life of God is a reality, let us attach ourselves to Christ.
If you have a sin in your life, in your thoughts, ask forgiveness with all your heart.
Let us not keep sin upon ourselves, but transfer it to the Lord. It is He who delivers.
Wherever you are, in the car, at home, at work, watch over your soul, don’t hold on to sin, allow the Lord to pay the price by giving it to him.
The life of Christ in you must grow, so that you go from victory to victory.
IN THE NAME OF JESUS, Let Us Pray… →
Lord, give me the grace and opportunity to know you.
To walk with you so that I may inherit eternal life
I ask you to forgive me for all the faults I have committed
Since I’ve been on this earth in Jesus’ name.
Whatever evil I have done against you, against my neighbor, forgive me.
May the blood of Jesus erase all that is written against me.
Let all that is hidden in me be revealed.
Lord Jesus, please help me with your Word.
Lord save my spirit, my soul, my body.
May all that is of this world within me be removed.
May all that is of the darkness connected to me be totally eliminated,
From my thoughts, my desires, my heart…
Holy Spirit, help me to focus on Your Word, on everything You say.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Thank you, Lord.
