God’s people are a blessed people.
But how does the devil manage to steal our blessings, the Word of God in our lives?
How does the enemy create a spirit of blindness?
Jeremiah 4
14 O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, That you may be saved. How long shall your evil thoughts lodge within you?
Saved from what?
Death, Satan, the devil. Saved so as to be freed, so as not to be reached by the enemy.
Otherwise, the person will lose himself, miss the goal, miss what he’s supposed to have.
Evil thoughts in the heart are what give Satan the right to steal blessings.
How could God, who is love, see someone suffering and leave them?
Even the Christian’s tests are blessings.
So you need to look at your heart again. Don’t let your heart deceive you. But readjust it to turn it toward God.
What we do with what God reveals to us through His Word is what makes the enemy flee from our lives or sit deeper in our lives.
Our decisions are very important. So it’s up to each individual to decide what to do.
Jeremiah 5
23 But this people has a defiant and rebellious heart; They have revolted and departed.
Brother, Sister, God wants you to have a docile, submissive heart.
24 They do not say in their heart, “Let us now fear the Lord our God,
Who gives rain, both the former and the latter, in its season. He reserves for us the appointed weeks of the harvest.”
This means they should have said in their hearts Fear God.
Beloved, the heart speaks.
Your thoughts can be the thoughts of your heart or your spirit. And when your thoughts are evil, it comes from your heart. For when thoughts do not honor God, it comes from a rebellious heart.
When God says to you: “You are blessed”. You won’t receive it because the thoughts of your heart are turned towards the material. Because for you, it’s the money, the material that you want.
Then the Word will be stolen.
It’s God who gives the rain, the seasons, but God’s people don’t even see that.
That’s what we call a rebellious heart. The heart that is rebellious is not the one that declares I am rebellious.
But it’s the heart that doesn’t give glory to God for what He does.
Here we’re talking about Jerusalem, God’s children with rebellious hearts, not pagans.
Rebellion here means not recognizing that what you have comes from God.
It’s not recognizing that it’s God who feeds you. You don’t recognize His blessings during the week, but the desires of your heart drive you to seek more things and thus to be indocilent to God.
Beloved, we must repent and reposition our hearts in the way of the spirit.
Consider this:
There was a young man, a new student who asked his parents for a car. And since he was doing well at school, his parents bought him an electric car.
That’s how he got to school in this car. And one day, he came to tell his father that he doesn’t want this car, he wants a Ferrari, because at school he’s playing basketball, and he needs a nice car, like a Ferrari or something.
His father replied that the electric car was more suitable. To which he replied that it’s more like a toy when he’s already grown up. Also, a much-loved basketball player, he can’t show up with a toy, people will make fun of him, he prefers a Ferrari.
With his father’s opposition, discussions became increasingly heated with each passing week.
As a result, the son filed a lawsuit against his father.
And on the day of the trial in court, the judge asked him to explain the facts. Surprised by what he heard, he asked the young man to repeat. To which he further explained that his father had a duty to buy him a nice car, according to his taste, not your father’s taste.
So the judge asked him again, “Would you like your father to give you a car according to your level, because the one you’ve been given isn’t up to standard, is that it?”
And the youngster confirmed. The judge then gave the floor to the father, who also spoke.
Beloved, what’s going on in this case?
The problem is in the boy’s heart. There were girls in his school and he wanted to impress them. And he nurtured in his heart that the best way to get there was to own a Ferrari.
So much so that the desire for this car blinded him, to the point where he could no longer see all that his parents had done for him from childhood to the present day.
Whereas if his father gave him an electronic car, it was out of love for him.
This is the problem of all humanity.
This is the conflict between God and Christians.
For this young man, he only wants what he wants. So, whatever his father gives him he doesn’t consider.
So that’s what happened with Jerusalem. There’s a spirit of blindness in this world.
So much so that the rain, the seasons, … that God gives, nothing matters to them because of the desires of their hearts.
Who benefits from all this? To God, God’s people or the devil?
This benefits the enemy, the devil.
For there is a problem between God and his people. Because their hearts are turned towards the material.
In the actual case cited, the father and the young boy could no longer get along because of the desires of the youngster’s heart. Do you think the father will feel free to give him something else? he’ll even have a problem giving him gold bullion, a house, a car or even anything else.
Brothers, let’s get back to Jesus 100%, spirit and soul.
It’s the path to freedom and blessing.
And God wants us all to understand this message.
When people see you, they should see you in the glory of God, not blaspheming God.
Your testimony should lead people to God, not the other way around.
Blessing is positioning yourself with God.
Whatever God gives you, be grateful and thank Him. For what you are, say thank you to God.
Don’t complain about anything. If God gives you a cookie, say thank you and don’t say I would have preferred fried rice.
That wouldn’t be right, develops the love of God. Which consists not only in loving Him, but also in contemplating Him in everything He does. That’s how you succeed with God.
Remove your priorities and put God’s priorities in you.
If you do, then the devil won’t be able to stop you even if you want to go to the moon.
For the Lord will be your strength, and God will know that if you want to go to the moon, it will be for His glory and not for the desires of your heart.
We Christians are often the last in society. It’s not supposed to be this way. For some, it’s because of the wrong teachings, for others it’s because the truth wasn’t known early on, and for others it’s because they want to stay on their own path.
The path to success is to have God completely within you.
When you pray, praise or worship God in church or at home, engage your spirit and soul.
When you go to work, engage your spirit and soul, because you’re working for God and not for yourself.
If you let your heart go to the material, it will be a materialistic heart. And if that’s the case, God won’t be in it anymore.
God wants you to love Him, not to love things. So the devil can’t stop you.
God doesn’t want a part of you, but everything that makes you up, everything belongs to Him.
That’s the state of mind we all need to be in.

Father, I bless you,
Thank you for Your presence in my life.
Lord forgive me every time I’ve given the devil the opportunity to manipulate my soul.
In the name of Jesus, I destroy in my heart the mindset of the world and its lust.
Lord, help me to give myself 100% to You, with my spirit and my soul.
