Our homes must be sanctuaries of prayer, not trouble or debauchery.
Some Christians, when they wake up, the first thing they look for is not God the Father, Jesus, nor the Holy Spirit. It’s their phone: who called, what’s the news. Beware of social networks.
The first thing to do when you wake up in the morning is to find out what God’s message is for you. What has God written in your heart, what does He want from you this day?…
The heart is a slate, a painting.
Instead, when they look within, the enemy shows them their problem, and that’s all they see. But in reality, they themselves are opening the door to the enemy by doing so.
Time is precious, it’s a blessing. You must never lose that.
How can I avoid wasting time?
You must always be in the secret place at home, at work, at all times.
Every time you think of the wrong things, of something that’s not essential, that has nothing to do with your identity… You’re wasting time.
You are from heaven, you are light, you are a child of God…there are so many things to think about.
You need to think about your relationship with God, seek to walk as others have walked with God, like Moses, Daniel…
But if you spend most of your time in front of the TV and social networks, that’s what’s going to fill your thoughts.
Every time someone thinks about problems, the devil is wasting their time. But every time this Christian thinks about love, how to be reconciled, how to live with God, how to be pleasing to God, then he’s valuing his time.
That’s why those who phone you just for useless chit-chat, you need to cut down on that because most of the time it can take even an hour or more. For it is the enemy who is behind all this, who is against your destiny. Beloved, you must move on.
How do you sanctify God in your heart?
We sanctify God through thoughts, imagination and words. Don’t accuse Him, don’t say bad words against the Lord. But rather bless Him, praise Him.
You are light, don’t corrupt your identity but maintain it. Romans 13.12, Colossians 1.13, 2Corinthians 6.14, 1Thessalonians 5.5, 1Peter 2.9,
Rom 13.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
Who needs to strip?
It is we who must strip ourselves of the works of darkness, because we are light.
We strip ourselves of lies, hatred, lust of the eyes, anger, the spirit of vengeance…We strip ourselves of the character of the devil and take on the character, the nature of God. This is what we call light.
Let us clothe ourselves in the weapons of light:
There are many weapons of light: truth, the practice of the Word…
Truth, for example, is not only clothing but also a weapon. It’s so powerful, it destabilizes darkness of any size.
Practically speaking, you’re a child of God, and one day you get up, you feel heavy, you don’t feel like praying, you’re discouraged…this isn’t normal, these are attacks. You must not accept this, for it is the work of darkness.
What should be done? You look at your identity: you belong to God, you’re a child of light… And the moment you recall your identity, you start speaking in the name of the One to whom you belong and you destroy that. Then it’ll be gone in three seconds in Jesus’ name.
When you’re under attack, know that God is with you.
Someone might ask, if God is with us, why are we under attack?
In fact, it’s a blessing, because it means you’ve received something.
And what you’ve been given is to defend yourself, so that you can practice. And practice makes perfect.
God wants you to stand up in His name. So an attack isn’t really bad, because it makes you practice and it tests your faith.
And a proven faith shakes any obstacle in its path. God prepares us today for tomorrow’s actions.
So when you feel weak and tired, discouraged, don’t go or stay in the valley.
God is our Daddy and He shapes us. We’re taking 20 years to get a diploma that’s not going to send us to heaven. How much more so the diploma of God?
Beloved, don’t waste time, you’re a champion. You’re a soul seasoned for God.
Colossians 1.
13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
Kingdom of the Son of His love = Light.
Right now, God has transported us into this Kingdom of light.
That’s why the devil is jealous, envious of us. For he is no longer in that glory.
Beloved, you are in heaven, though you are on earth.
We’re in heaven because true love means having the person in your heart. Distance doesn’t matter when there’s true love, even in the case of marriage that’s how it works.
God is faithful and pure, He is in heaven and He cherishes you in His heart. So you’re in Him in heaven.
Knowing that we are in Him, our attitude on earth is what gives joy or grieves the Lord Jesus.
The enemy does everything to convince Christians that God isn’t there, that when they’re at home, at work, … they’re alone. And some do evil.
Beloved, not only does God see us, He is within us.
How does the devil work?
Although we can’t see the enemy, he speaks.
If you hear, for example, while you’re fasting: “You’re hungry, go and eat” It can be like an impression because there’s no visible body. [It’s the body that amplifies the voice]. And this is to activate desire in the person. And when you don’t see someone talking to you, you’ll think it’s coming from you.
How can you tell when it’s the devil?
Brother, sister, know that everything that doesn’t bring you closer to God (thoughts, messages, intentions, desires, words, voices…) comes from the enemy.
The enemy can even use the truth to try to connect with you. And then from that connection hurt you.
For example: a Christian decides to pray at 8pm. And the enemy will say, you’re going to pray at 8pm but pray at 8:30pm instead, it’s better. If the Christian listens and prays at 8:30 p.m., whom will he have obeyed? To hell with it.
And what the enemy will remember is that he was able to manipulate it. And from there, he’ll try to exploit it.
The devil uses thoughts a lot. That’s why you have to fill your heart and your thoughts by praying continually in your heart. That way, when you get home, it’ll be easy to pray.
Brothers, our words affect our spiritual atmosphere. You either attract good or evil. So let’s be careful what we say, even on the phone. Everything that comes out of our mouths is very important. Don’t confess anything negative about yourself or anything else.
Remember, you are the light. And you have a lot to do for the Lord Jesus. The child of God is connected to God and speaks a spiritual language. He is in constant communication with his Father.
What we don’t give to God, the enemy will take. So let’s let our thoughts be occupied with good things by continually speaking to God in our hearts.
God is what He says He is. He hasn’t changed; what He did in the Bible, He still does. In the way He sets free, delivers, heals, uplifts… He always does.
God is always present, it’s just a matter of each of us deciding to do His will. And He will.
Doing what God wants isn’t complicated; it’s a matter of perception.
Job 34.
14 If He should set His heart on it, If He should gather to Himself His Spirit and His breath,
15 All flesh would perish together, And man would return to dust.
How do you surrender to God? How can we perceive the Lord’s way?
You must know that you are spirit in the temple (the body). God created you: spirit, soul and body. Spirit and soul are spiritual and come from God. And when you look at yourself, see yourself as belonging to God and not to yourself. The deeper it goes inside you, the deeper your relationship with God will be.
You see yourself as part of God. You have the nature of God, you are spiritual. That’s why Jesus came, to reconcile those whom God created in His image.
The more you understand this, the closer you’ll get to God, because you don’t approach God with your body; you don’t pray with your body, but with your spirit and heart.
The Christian’s victory is linked to understanding what God has told him. And the practice of what he has received. There is nothing that God says that is not useful and must be rejected. Everything He says is for our good, for our ways are not His ways.
Beloved, to be special, to progress, to conquer, to advance…it’s a choice. Those who know, choose, decide then the Holy Spirit will help them.
