To educate our souls, we need to know the reasons why we pray, give thanks, praise and adore the Lord. And these reasons must be based on the Word of God.
But if we let our hearts be filled with the worries and cares of this life, we won’t be able to. So we must do something by remembering that we are redeemed, we are God’s temple…and then praise our God.
Billions of families have preceded us into heaven. So we, too, must do our utmost to know heaven’s laws and walk according to God’s will.
Ephesians 3
14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and heigh,
19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
The inner man or spiritual man is capable of being connected to the wealth that comes from God. It can be very strong, capable of destabilizing the works of darkness.
And this inner man is inside you. It’s spiritual. It’s made up of spirit and soul. So we need to be more aware of our spiritual aspect than our physical one.
How can this man be strengthened?
Is it by eating physical food?
No, it’s by eating what comes from God.
Beloved, when the Word is preached, we must take it seriously.
Because it comes from God. Pastors are the “waiters” of this spiritual food, which is the Word of God.
Since soul and spirit belong to God, we must do everything in spirit.
But often the man’s problem is in his spirit, in himself, but if this person succeeds in knowing his spirit, he will be able to move forward.
Let’s always look at ourselves as God’s property.
Knowing that God, took a part of Himself, to create us. We are not separated from God; it is sin that separates us from God.
That’s why every time I do wrong, or hurt my neighbor, it hurts the Lord.
There’s a part of God in each of us, and that’s why we have to love each other.
By understanding this, we will allow the Holy Spirit to restore our lives.
We must love one another.
The devil does everything he can to drive us to sin, in order to separate us from God. He does everything to put divisions in our midst, resentments, doubt, frustration…so that’s how he succeeds. It can keep the person in this attitude.
Beloved, you are connected to God. You are a part of God.
You are created in God’s image to conquer, to dominate.
And the Lord is pleased when you dominate because you lift up His image.
When Jesus rose from the dead, there was panic in the enemy camp. And on that day, Jesus could have destroyed all the demons, but He didn’t.
Why?
He knew you’d come in and do the job.
And the Word in you will restore everything the devil thinks he’s spoiled.
How we perceive ourselves is very important.
When we see ourselves as nothing, it saddens God.
Some of them started out with money, thinking: “I don’t have any, will I live? will I survive?
You’re not in the image of money, that’s an insult to God. You are in God’s image!
Learn not to let the material manipulate your mind or your heart.
Live above. Look at these things as if they were nothing.
The influence and power the devil has put behind these things must not influence you.
It is the influence of these things that leads to envy and covetousness.
It’s a trap. The devil has created a spirit called lust.
So when you admire these things, that spirit will enter your heart.
Then you’ll want to have these things. You’ll be trapped.
And the image of God will be corrupted because of envy, lust.
How do you get out of it?
Look at yourself as a child of God, a part of God. You are a full part of God.
Jesus is in the image of God and He too is a part of God, He is the Son of God. He comes from His Father. So this part is God Himself.
When you look at yourself according to God, your enemy has just been wounded in his plan. Because it only succeeds through the ignorance of human beings.
So whoever knows the truth will be delivered.
And that’s how the Spirit of God will come to direct that person.
Is it normal or fair that this should be the case?
Yes. That’s why God’s spirit lives in you, why the power God has invested in you is immense.
The glory that Jesus has restored in our lives is greater than Adam’s.
We don’t realize the value of a child of God.
In this world, it’s become like words.
But in reality, when you declare that you are a child of God, the devil must tremble.
For it is not you who are seen, but He who created you. That’s why Jesus came.
You are not just anyone, you must not doubt what the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit have done.
You must speak, walk, decide, act, live by this truth.
God has done all this exclusively and executively. You can’t change your decree.
So I have to make sure that what’s in my mind and heart is correct.
Your value is not material. The computer can’t assess your value. No market can value you. But your value depends on God. It’s divine.
Whenever there is anything that is not of God in the heart: frustration, hesitation when it comes to the things of God, fear, envy, jealousy, doubt, being skeptical of God, worry, distraction, not being concerned about one’s soul…these are the works of the devil, they are attacks on our lives.
Beloved, we must search our hearts to remove all that is not of God.
When soul and spirit are strong, the inner man is fortified. And this by meditating on the Word, by singing songs of praise, …at all times.
Because at all times, you are in the Presence of God. When you eat or even when you’re alone, you’re in God’s Presence. For God is with you. It’s a blessing from our God.
1Peter 2 .9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
This is how the Holy Spirit equips Christians to use them for other souls.
What hinders the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives is when we are attached to the world. Let’s not love the world. 1John 2.15-16.
What is the world? It’s not the earth.
The world is the system the devil created. This is the perception that the devil has created, where man attaches himself to every thing, and this causes him to take that thing as if it were his God.
This is all that can distract man from the way of God. Someone can go to secular school, from elementary school to university, normally when they finish, they should be a person who loves God with all their heart. But incredulity enters his heart throughout. It’s not the school that’s the world, but the mindset that’s inculcated: he goes to school to have money, to have a high social standing, to be able to buy what he wants. Knowledge is not the world, but the school spirit is the world.
Whereas the Christian who goes to school, if he has Jesus in him, will succeed. By becoming a businessman, he will impact his environment, his leadership.
The world is a spirit that clings to the material, that attacks man’s honor.
The world is a spirit that gives glory to man instead of to God. It’s a spirit that pushes us to satisfy ourselves instead of satisfying God and loving our neighbor. A spirit of selfishness.
As long as you don’t let go of the world, you’ll be blind to God’s greatness.
For those born of God, the spirit of the world is destroyed and Jesus takes its place.
So we must guard our spirits and hearts so that the Lord continues to direct us according to His will.

Father, I bless you,
Thank you for Your presence in my life.
Lord forgive me every time I’ve given the devil the opportunity to manipulate my soul.
I declare in Jesus’ name that I am delivered from the world and its lusts.
Lord, reveal to me every day Your will, Your heart.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
