Ezekiel 37
11 Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!
Bad thoughts, negative words, complaints brought Israel into the valley.
The valley is an image of desolation, discouragement and frustration…
When God’s hand is on you and you start praying, you’ll attract the attention of the enemy, who will always do everything to bring you to the valley.
The devil’s plan is to do everything in his power to make sure you end up in the valley.
And those who are already in this valley, the enemy is doing everything to keep them there.
In the valley, can anyone pray? No.
Whenever you’re discouraged about life, it’s because you’re under attack. Or that it’s prayer time and you can’t pray, you’re under attack.
Every time you’re confused when you shouldn’t be, it’s an attack.
In the morning you get up and it’s hard to pray, you feel heavy, or even in the evening you’re only sleepy when you should be praying, or you receive visitors at prayer time, or you have worries inside you.
All these are signs of an attack on your life.
Why are you being attacked?
You are attacked because you are chosen. And the enemy sees that if you keep moving forward, you’ll be very dangerous against them.
They’ll try to create delays in your life: you’re supposed to have certain things and you don’t, or people will betray you, it could even be an illness, a strange dream…
Out of nowhere, you can lose your job, or accusations left and right, your friends reject you, you’re isolated…
Or you begin to be afraid of life, of death, to be filled with worries that something will happen to you, of disasters…
All these things can discourage you and make you question your relationship with God.
But know that it’s an enemy plan.
All because God’s hand is upon you. These are attacks to slow you down so you don’t get far.
The unjust situations you endure are due to the fact that God’s hand is upon you.
People may blame you, abandon you…These are signs that God’s hand is upon you.
The enemy knows that if he leaves you, you risk becoming a champion of God. Like Paul or Peter…
But know, brother, sister, that victory is found in Jesus.
We’re in a fighting world, and when God’s hand is on you, that hand can’t be invisible.
Even your prayer makes the kingdom of darkness tremble, even though you can’t see it.
Beloved, you think you’re nothing, but in the spiritual world, you’re a champion in Jesus’ name. For it is the Lord Jesus who does it through you.
When you pray, you just feel the heat inside you, but the enemy sees a danger, a person who goes toe-to-toe with God, a person who eats God’s word and is dangerous.
You have to know that there’s an impact and the enemy sees it.
For no one can pronounce the name of Jesus without result, unless he does not belong to Jesus.
So they do everything to stop you praying or listening to the Word, and even stop you going to church…
That’s why they’ll do everything to send you bad thoughts, remind you of what the doctors say so that you worry, or someone will say something at work to make you worry. They do everything to pollute the soul with bad dreams…
For joy is the devil’s enemy. He doesn’t like people to be happy because he knows you’ll continue praying.
That’s why if you’ve had a bad dream, or you see these situations, don’t lament, don’t be afraid, don’t be discouraged, don’t be frustrated…
For all this is to discourage you, to frustrate you, to make you doubt your prayer so that they can bring you back to the valley.
What to do?
Just remember who Jesus is, the nature of Jesus within you, persevere and pray.
Jesus is your teacher, training you so that you know how to move forward, so that you’ll always be a champion.
So, beloved, you remember the Words of Jesus, and you practice His Word by beating these demons in prayer in Jesus' name.
