Psalm 24:1
The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.
Testimony:
For the past six years, I’ve had premium medical insurance for which I paid the same amount. The renewal had been made in November 2024 and since January 2025, everything had been running smoothly.
But in March, I realized that the premium I was asking for was much higher. I used to pay $60 a month and he wanted me to pay $500 a month.
Dismayed, I decided to phone the insurance company to find out more. They told me they would check. And a few days later, a lady from the insurance company called me and confirmed that my insurance was high. Then she explained that it was because my income had changed.
So I told her that it had already been several months since my income had changed and yet my insurance amount hadn’t been modified at the beginning of the year.
She suggested I cancel the medical insurance there and sign up with my company where I work instead, as they had this option.
However, it seemed to me that registrations for the year 2025 had been closed since January. So she offered to tell them that Maryland Health had denied me insurance and that I had no other choice.
Then I went to pray, standing on the Rock 1 Corinthians 6.20, I spoke to the Lord: “Lord, my life belongs to you. And even the insurance belongs to you, my company belongs to you… You alone know what is going on, and You see everything, glorify You Lord in Jesus’ name…”
Then I called my company and met a lady who told me there was nothing she could do as everything was already fenced in. Unless I’m in the military, a pregnant woman, a military wife or a disabled person… This was not the case.
I went back to call the lady at Maryland Health to explain. So she asked me if I could pay the $500 every month until November 2025 before they could review my situation. I said no; so the only option was to stop my insurance contract. Then she was going to get me a rejection letter.
She explained to me in detail how to proceed via the Internet, and so I did. I also called the hospital to put all my appointments for the following month on hold.
Having retrieved the mailings from Maryland Health, I again sent an application to my company’s insurance, indicating my situation as a special/exceptional case.
And by the Lord’s Mighty Hand, my case was accepted, and I was once again able to be insured at a reasonable price. I know that it was God, to whom everything belongs, who acted.
I give all the glory to the Lord Jesus.
