Philippians 2:10

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

Testimony:

When we arrived at the church, my husband and I had no children. I’d already had a miscarriage when we were back home. And the three years that followed that miscarriage were failure after failure. So we waited for the fruit of the womb.

One day, the pastor sent for us. And at that time I was a little late but I had done two pregnancy tests but they were all negative.

And that day, my husband and I met the man of God and he told us that the child was already on his way. I accepted in my heart what he had said, but I told myself it would be in the distant future.

Back home the following week, I started to feel sick, so much so that I wanted to take medication. But a voice inside me told me not to take them, and to take another pregnancy test.

So I did, and my pregnancy test was positive. That’s how I became pregnant with my first daughter, and the Lord was with us throughout the pregnancy. And all went well by His grace.

Three years later, we met the pastor again and he asked us when the second baby was due. I shook my head because I didn’t feel ready.

He said that even if we didn’t want to yet, he declared that the child was already there. I accepted just out of respect for the pastor, but in myself I didn’t feel ready.

And when we got home, I discovered a few days later that I’d already been pregnant for over 8 weeks without knowing it. With the Lord’s help, the pregnancy went smoothly throughout.

And on the day of delivery, there were some complications, so the room was packed with medical staff.

I was already very tired during the work session. My husband and the midwives patiently encouraged me. And I had to keep pushing, but I could feel my strength failing me.

Then I turned to the Lord and said: “Lord, I’ve never seen you abandon anyone along the way, those who turn to you are never ashamed. You are my help, I have no strength left, the nurses are counting on me to make one last effort but I’m counting on you Jesus, my trust is in you…”

And I heard a voice telling me to push with the name of Jesus.

And when I did it for the first time, the midwife told me it was very different from all the other times before. That’s how I pushed with the name of Jesus, three times. And the third time, victory was given to me, the baby came.

Beloved, there is power in the name of Jesus.

I bless the name of the Lord for this victory, the Lord has brought me back from death to life, He is El Shaddai! To God alone be the glory for all eternity.
