Testimony:
Luke 11
14. And He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. So it was, when the demon had gone out, that the mute spoke; and the multitudes marveled.
The Lord is alive and good. We must rely on His word at all times.
I bear witness to His blessings. It’s been almost a year since I’ve been able to lift my arm.
One day, after serving in an intercession group, I took some time to rest.
The next day, I felt a lot of pain in my arm; I couldn’t lift it.
So I began to apply the blood of Jesus to my arm, just as we had been taught. And I placed everything in the Lord’s hands.
Every day, in my prayers, I spoke to my soul in spirit.
Then one Sunday, I heard a testimony from someone who explained that God had healed her of pain in her arm. That gave me strength, and we prayed together.
The pain was lingering, and I still couldn’t lift my arm.
One Sunday, a sister asked me if I had gone to the hospital because of the pain in my arm. I told him no. But deep down, I told myself that the Lord is my doctor; I still haven’t gone to the hospital.
Then one Monday, as I usually do, I logged in to the 9 p.m. family prayer meeting.
That day, the pastor was teaching us from Luke 11:14: Jesus cast out a demon that had left a man mute. So it was, when the demon had gone out, that the mute spoke; and the multitudes marveled.
He asked everyone to pay close attention and open their hearts to receive this teaching.
I remember that the Lord spoke to us about the determination we need to have, as well as about always keeping a humble, teachable heart. And on that day, my heart was truly open to the Word.
I said to myself, “Lord, just as you healed that mute man, you will heal me too.”
Then, after the sermon, the pastor began to pray for us. He asked us not to look at the body, but rather at our spirit—the inner person.
While he was praying, a voice inside me said, “Touch the side… lift your arm.” I felt as if there were a fire burning inside me. Then, at one point, I raised my arm, and the pain was gone. Hallelujah!
I had been in pain for a year, and the Lord healed me. May all glory be given to Him in the name of Jesus.
