Psalm 62.
2 Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.
3. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.
Testimony:
I give thanks to the Lord Jesus my Redeemer.
As part of my business, I needed to find a service provider. And when I did the research, I saw that the rates were really high.
I started to get scared, because I knew I couldn’t pay these amounts.
But in the evening, I remembered the teaching, that I should always stand on the Rock (1 Corinthians 6.20) for everything and in all things. For I belong to Jesus, I am a child of God. And as such, the Lord had said that I could ask Him for anything, as long as it was for His glory.
So I got up in prayer and standing on the Rock, I told the Lord that I couldn’t afford to pay such high rates. And I told him how much I could pay for the service.
I decided to reject all worries and continued to stand on the Rock.
That’s how my husband and I went to meet this service provider to explain the project. And the Lord acted with power.
To my great surprise, this gentleman asked for less money than the amount I had told the Lord. It was extraordinary. Even my husband happily laughed at me.
I bless the Lord Jesus for His help, may all the glory return to Him.
