Apostle Billey.

Restoring lost glory.

John 10

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Who’s the thief? It’s the serpent, it’s Satan, the force of darkness, the organization of darkness.

But Jesus came to this earth to give us abundant life.

While the thief kills, Jesus gives or restores Life.

Genesis 3

9 Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”

10 So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

11 And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?”

Here, Adam’s glory has been lost. And this glory that has been lost is linked to the spirit and the soul. For spirit and soul come directly from God.

We are spiritual beings in a physical body. And it is this spiritual being that God glorifies.

God took of Himself to create man. We were in God before the earth and everything else existed.

When a person is so attached to the earth, to the material, that he forgets his eternity. This person is said to have a falling attitude.

The fall is when the spirit that is connected to God no longer recognizes God as the Progenitor, the One who begot him.

The existence of man is linked to God, just as the existence of Jesus is.

Whatever is on earth, therefore, must not dissociate us from God, whatever value man has given to that thing.

But when these things disassociate man from God, man is said to have sinned, or fallen. In other words, the mechanism that caused man to fall is called sin.

It wasn’t the first time Adam had heard God’s voice. God was in charge of Adam and Eve, they were close.

But what is the new element that has entered him, his heart, to make him afraid?

What entered him was the voice of the serpent.

By listening to the voice of the serpent, Adam submitted to it.

There’s Truth and there’s Lies.

We can’t accept both at the same time. Light and darkness don’t coexist. God doesn’t live with Belial.

We had to choose between God and Satan, between light and darkness.

By listening to the serpent, Adam chose the path of fear, the path of darkness.

And immediately, the consequences/symptoms began to manifest themselves in his life.

The first symptoms are fear and confusion.

Fear and confusion do not come from God.

Genesis 3.10 So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

What kind of nudity are we talking about? Spiritual nakedness.

Between the physical and the spiritual, the body and the spirit, which is more valuable?

Someone may be physically naked but spiritually clothed.

Whoever is physically clothed but spiritually naked is said to be naked.

Which means that dressing the body in expensive clothes won’t dress the spirit.

Adam saw himself naked. So what does this mean? Adam was robbed.

Brothers and sisters, when we give our lives to Jesus, He removes our impurities, all the marks of sin on us: lies, lust…

If, for example, someone lies yesterday, the lie won’t be written physically on him, but it will be written on his soul, on his spirit.

It’s not written on him physically because it’s the soul that has consumed.

The Lord forgives us and washes us clean. He makes us righteous. This means that he clothes the Christian in the garment of righteousness.

And the whole spiritual world sees this Christian “just” because of the clothes he wears.

This garment of righteousness is also linked to the garment of the child of God.

So in reality, a child of God is clothed with righteousness, authority, power… It’s a spiritual coating.

Beloved, every serious Christian has this coating. It’s with this coating that you step on snakes and scorpions…

Today for many Christians, their authority, power … are no longer seen.

Why? It was stolen from them. They were stripped of their clothes.

The body is well dressed, but the mind is naked.

John 10.10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Thus Adam’s garment of justice, strength, authority, honor, power… was stolen.

There’s the story of two 10-year-olds who found themselves with three dishes in front of them to eat. Everyone had taken a dish, and only one remained. One of them, desperate for the3rd course, spat in it. This prevented the2nd child from taking the dish.

Beloved, God doesn’t take what’s dirty. Knowing this, the enemy will do everything to smear the man. This will prevent connection with God. And the devil will be able to steal man’s glory.

Consider this:

The president is the most powerful man in the nation. How did he receive this power? Does it have anything to do with his clothes?

No. He is powerful because of the words spoken to him by the Supreme Court.

That’s how they say he’s clothed in power, honor and authority…

This clothing is linked to his soul, not his body.

His power comes from within, in his spirit and soul. As soon as he speaks, things are done, things are accomplished.

How can this president become naked or be undressed?

When the State comes to relieve him of his duties, he will become naked. Thus, authority, honor, glory, privileges, power… will have been wrested from him.

Brothers, when Adam said I am naked, it was because the devil had wrested from him his authority, his power, his honor, his dignity…

God puts honor, authority, power, blessing… inside us in the spirit. That’s why God puts his Word in us. The Word is heard and received with the spirit and body.

Beloved, we must not take the earth as if it were our home, to the point of forgetting God.

We are spiritual beings, but we focus too much on the body.

Let’s readjust, so that we no longer leave our spirits hungry. Let’s stop giving priority to the material, to the body.

The devil manipulates man with the things of the earth, with what man loves on earth.

That’s what happened with Esau over the lentils he loved, with Samson over Delilah, with Solomon…

We must pay attention to what the soul desires: material things and relationships. This is where the devil lays his traps.

And when he sets the traps, he can capture the soul. And when the soul is captured, it can no longer do God’s will.

For example, a Christian may decide to pray today, but the next day he can’t do it anymore. Why? Because the soul has been captured, because the soul is linked to a sin, to an evil…

Genesis 3

13 And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”

The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

The devil’s seduction consists in persuading the Christian that what is bad is good; it consists in taking the Christian away from God’s path by tricks. The serpent used its voice and eyes. He spoke, Eve listened and he also showed her the tree…

All this helped the serpent to manipulate them until they fell.

Beloved, how can one be seriously delivered?

It’s knowing that we are spirits. And asking for the grace to make our spirits and souls long for the things of God. And the rest will follow.

The first Christians knew how to give priority to the spiritual.

People of God, we must learn to receive the Word in our spirits and hearts. Because in Jesus, there is the complete restoration of lost glory, the restoration of the stars.

Restoration begins with conversion, which includes repentance. Then we must receive the Word into us regularly with consistency. And every time we receive the Word, God is dressing us, clothed us spiritually.

Beloved, let us readjust our hearts to receive the Word as we should. We must allow God to clothe us with His Word and that clothing must remain.

Let’s be careful not to leave in our hearts: the cares of life, unbelief, the love of the world…Let’s strip ourselves of these things. And let’s develop love for God and neighbor.

IN THE NAME OF JESUS, Let Us Pray… →

Lord, forgive me for all I have done against you.

May the blood of Jesus cleanse me completely.

From now on, may Your Word dwell in me always.

May the stolen Word be restored.

Any evil spirit that steals the Word in me be located and annihilated.

I get back the joy, peace, authority, strength… that were stolen from me in Jesus’ name.

Lord, restore Your Word to my mind and heart.
