Apostle Billey.

Everything written in the Bible is for all mankind. When God visits a person, He visits humanity.

God Himself takes care of His people.

As the people of Israel crossed the desert, they grew thirsty and God asked Moses to strike the rock. And from this rock, water gushed out and they were able to quench their thirst.

But despite this, the people spoke against God.

Psalm 78

19 Yes, they spoke against God: They said, “Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?

20 Behold, He struck the rock, So that the waters gushed out, And the streams overflowed.
Can He give bread also? Can He provide meat for His people?”

21 Therefore the Lord heard this and was furious; So a fire was kindled against Jacob, And anger also came up against Israel,

Where did this complaint from the people of Israel come from? Of their spirit, soul or body?

This complaint came from their souls.

it’s the soul that manages the material and relationships. Water and bread are physical, material things.

It was a simple rock, and water gushed out of it. After drinking water from the rock, the people still began to ask if God was able to give them bread…

Beloved, when God does something, it’s so that we can get to know Him. For what He does reveals who He is.

But those who don’t make an effort to see who God is, they’re going to get stopped on what God has done. And once they have consumed what God has given them. They will no longer have a testimony.

They’ll start to fear and worry again. Why?

Because with the miracle that had happened, they hadn’t learned any lessons.

The miracle remained physical in their perception.

Now, although the miracle is physical, the One who performed the miracle is Spirit. And He’s the one who created me, so all this must enable me to attach myself to God.

Equipment is limited. For example, the car God can give us is limited in time. But God is permanent.

So when God gives you that car, you shouldn’t look at it more than God. But through this car that He gives you, you must see the greatness, the faithfulness, the power of God and above all the fact that God is with You.

That’s how a Christian should act, but that’s what Israel didn’t do.

God is capable of anything, they could carry Israel while they slept and transport them from Egypt. But he didn’t do it so he could teach them, deliver so they could be strengthened in spirit.

God showed Israel who He is as they left Egypt. He didn’t do it to show Pharaoh that He was strong.

Pharaoh can’t compare himself to God. But He acted all along so that His people would know Him.

So, since His people didn’t know Him, He went gradually with them.

He split the Red Sea in two, the people saw and were able to cross.

The message is to know Him, so that the spirit of man and the Spirit of God can be one.

So we must let our spirit and soul be delivered. And the spirit will thus be connected to the Spirit God for eternity.

Well liked consider this:

The miracle of the Red Sea having taken place at point A and afterwards, I cross. So I arrive at point B, beyond the Red Sea, and start praising God.

But after three months, six months, a year, two years, I can forget what happened. I can forget what God has done, because the effect will have become less.

However, has this diminished the power of the One who worked the miracle? No.

How can I walk in spirit? How do you grow your spirit?

Whenever God intervenes, whatever the intervention, recognize that it was God who did it. You can’t say it’s by chance. Nothing happens by chance.

Everything God does, He had already planned. So from what He does, you fortify your soul with it.

Everything He does, you engrave in your spirit and heart.

And after a few weeks, months, years, it’ll be as if you’re still connected to what God has done, to current events.

For example, the Red Sea has returned to its place, but what God has done must remain in your mind.

You walk in the spirit, relying on His works: “The God who delivered me when I was facing the Red Sea, He’s still with me, so I won’t be afraid…”

You base yourself on the spirit, on the actuality of what God has done, which is no longer physically visible but in your spirit it’s still visible.

But Israel every time God did something, he rejoiced. And after that, he asked for more.

After drinking the water, he asks for meat, and so on…

But God’s plan is for us to know Him first. God has no problem blessing His children, but material possessions cannot save, He alone saves.

It is a primary rule for a Christian to know these truths and to walk by them.

Did Paul and Silas, when they came out of prison in Acts 16, go home and decide to give up the ministry?

No, they continued to serve God, even more than before.

What was their secret? Despite the fact that they were physically afflicted, and the soul felt the pain of their bodies.

Where did they get the strength to keep on working for God?

At the level of the spirit.

The body had been beaten but the spirit was intact, in touch with God. The body is for a time, but the spirit is for eternity.

So as a Christian, as long as my spirit is in contact with God, I won’t be afraid of afflictions, of the enemy’s attacks.

Beloved, you are a spirit and your spirit must not be weak. He must be permanently connected to the Spirit of God, to be a strong spirit. And that’s even if there’s a storm/difficult times.

Difficult moments will be transformed into moments of glory.

Job did this, as did Paul and Silas, Daniel, Joseph, David, Ezekiel, Elijah…all men of God did this.

Today it’s your turn.

What did God do for you yesterday, last week, last month, since the beginning of the year?

You must know that. It must be in you. Even if the physical thing is no longer there, the One who made these things is still with you.

It’s the spirit that gives strength.

Those who forget what God has done for them, their prayers are prayers of lament, prayers of complaint, punctuated by doubt…

Beloved, consider this again:

A person is on a plane, and then the plane crashes. But the person leaves unharmed. Will this person forget that God saved him?

After that, when the person is in the car, will they be afraid?

No. Because the One who saved her from the plane crash is still with her.

So the spirit of the person and the Spirit of God are one.

Brothers and sisters, we must never forget what God has done.

Psalm 106.

13 They soon forgot His works; They did not wait for His counsel,

14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, And tested God in the desert.

Numbers 14

11 Then the Lord said to Moses: “How long will these people reject Me? And how long will they not believe Me, with all the signs which I have performed among them?

Those who are in a position of doubt towards God must come out of it. We must learn to believe in God, the One who created us spirit, soul and body.

Beloved, how long will you doubt God? How long will you separate yourself from the Lord?

We must learn to have an evolving faith, an active and real faith, not a dormant faith.

God is great and His works are many.

Romans 1

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

We must see everything according to God, see God’s way and glorify Him.

Even looking at your spouse, child, parent, colleague…we must learn to admire the greatness of God through their lives, through the work of their Creator.

Then we’ll be able to pray for them in all circumstances, and always give glory to God.

We have no enemy when we see as God.

This is also walking in the spirit, seeing things as God sees them.
