Matthew 16
13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”
14 So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Looking into our hearts, who is Jesus to you?
The truth about Christ must be in our hearts. Truth is knowing the person of Jesus, His character, His personality, what He is in heaven, and for humanity.
Faith is knowing only one person, Jesus. He is the Word come down from heaven.
Every continent, nation, territory… needs Jesus.
We have Jesus and the Lord Jesus must be great in you. Not the Jesus of men, but the Jesus of God the Father.
For the manifestation of Jesus depends on the truth you know about Him.
Paul cast out demons in the name of Jesus and they left.
But when the sons of Sceva tried to drive out the demons, they didn’t leave. [Acts 19.13-17]
What’s the difference?
A name is empty.
Paul’s is not a name, it’s a person.
The manifestation of Jesus’ name is for those who know him.
The way we go to 7 Eleven is not the way we go to Walmart. At one you do a quick errand, at the other you take a caddy to run errands.
It’s what you do, what you have that represents your strength.
Through Jesus, the Son of God, we have been created. So when you call out His name you must see Your Creator.
The question is, what revelation do you have of me? How do you see me?
Are you looking at my body, or do you see beyond it?
What is in Jesus is connected to the creator of the universe.
So whoever has known Jesus Christ has received all that is in Jesus, which implies all that is in God the Father.
And this is what the Christian must perceive. And that’s what the devil fears.
When we look at brothers, what do we see?
The reason we receive updates for our phone is because the phone they’ve created isn’t perfect.
Man, who was created by God, doesn’t need updating.
We need to see God’s glory, His perfection, His power…
Everything God has created is perfect. And since Adam, God has not changed.
Through Jesus, who is the Word, everything was created.
Jesus came out of the Father not for Himself but for God the Father. The nature of Jesus is in God and the nature of God is in Jesus.
So when Jesus came to earth, it was God who visited us, for the spirit, the power… of God is in Him.
That’s why when you have Jesus, you’re strong, you have to dominate. It’s not you who dominates, but Jesus in you. This is also the nature of God in us.
The way we see ourselves is proportional to the way we see Christ. According to John 14, the Father and the Son are in us.
So you must have faith in everything. And any opposition, you can destroy.
For it is no longer you who live, but Christ who lives in you.
The problem with Christians is that they put God aside and themselves aside in their minds.
That’s why when Mr. and Mrs. get married, they become one person. How much more so do we become one with God.
The Father and the Son are one. And we too are one with Jesus.
So when you walk, you’re not alone. You have to grasp this deep inside you.
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father in heaven.
Man’s problem is that he sees himself separated from God.
The Lord will never abandon us, never. God is ‘Alpha and Omega.
It is God who sustains everything on this earth, even the pagans. The Lord’s patience works so that they do not perish.
God’s love holds you together.
_ You have to see God in yourself more than yourself. It’s more real than you, bigger than you.
You can’t see everywhere, but the Lord can. You need God. You don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but God does. Even the water, you don’t know how He made it.
Then you have to put it first _ priority before everything else.
_ Your life belongs to God. You stand, you walk, you move… by the power of God.
We often think that our strength is what gets things done. Even when we walk, it’s by God’s power.
We can’t do anything ourselves.
[Colossians 1.17] Everything we do is for the Lord.
The sooner I understand this, the works of the devil, these oppressions will be destroyed.
The devil’s job is to make people believe that God isn’t there, that you’re succeeding because of your strength and intelligence. It’s the devil’s lie.
And if you accept that, you’ll start to weaken.
The truth is, we can’t even take a step without God.
God created us for His glory. And whatever we do, He gets the glory.
God is everything in us. Everything belongs to Him.
Whoever understands this, it can’t be hard for the Lord to visit him. For His connection will be great.
What’s more, the devil won’t be able to touch him.
Being a Christian is a position of glory, of honor, of being a child of God.
Trust God 100%. And your life will be radiant even on this earth.
The sun shines on the good and the bad alike, because that’s what God has said.
You are more than the sun, you have a relationship with the Lord.
What did the Lord tell you? What did you come here to do?
That’s what needs to happen.
Jesus is the Truth and He always heals, delivers and restores.

May everything written against my life be destroyed in Jesus’ name.
Lord, you are the Truth.
Open my eyes and see Your greatness in me every day.
I am a child of God, a son of Truth and I walk according to the Truth.I walk according to the Truth.
