Redeemed, it is no longer you who lives, but Christ who lives in you.
In the New Covenant, God wants to smash the satanic altars and set up His kingdom, transforming the whole world, through His children in Jesus’ name.
From Adam to Noah, to Abraham, our parents were manipulated by the devil, so much so that in Jeremiah’s time, there was the deportation. For their thoughts were turned to evil. And God in His great love sent His Son Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, to establish order, to save us, to deliver us, to give us victory.
Jesus exposed the devil and all his arsenal. He heals, delivers, saves, liberates, restores broken hearts…He is Lord!
So we need to be aware of what we gain by becoming Christians.
The devil has always sought to make contact with man, to possess him.
Adam and Eve were possessed by the spirit of the serpent, so that they could no longer remain in God’s presence. And from then on, they were always pushed towards evil, open to evil.
So we need to know that when a person does evil, it’s because they’ve been in contact with the spirit of evil, with a demon.
The voice of the devil is what we call the venom or the seed of the world.
After Eve accepted the devil’s voice, she began to see that the tree was good to eat and pleasing to the eye.
Redeemed, we must walk by the voice of the Holy Spirit and not by the flesh.
Let’s remember Jesus’ temptation,
Luke 4.
5 Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.
7 Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.”
8 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! for it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”
Who gave the devil the power and glory of these kingdoms?
It happened in Genesis 3 – Adam and Eve listened to the voice of the serpent. And as a result, without knowing it, they submitted their glory, their inheritance to Satan.
This is why it is written in 1John 3.8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil sins from the beginning.
Luke 4.
7 So if you bow down to me, it will be all yours.
What does it mean to bow down? Submit – Obey.
It means believing in what the devil has said.
And that’s all the snake was looking for.
So, since Eve believed what the devil told her, she gave value to what he said, so the serpent was able to take control of her and her husband.
Sin is very dangerous. Adam and Eve thus gave their glory to the serpent.
And if we look closely, temptation is always in relation to material things or to oneself.
In the same way, the enemy said to Jesus:
Luke 4
2 being tempted for forty days by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry.
3 And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.”
This temptation was for Jesus to turn to Himself, to feed Himself.
And the devil also offered to raise Jesus Himself.
The enemy is a manipulator.
Isaiah 59
1 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.
2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you,
So that He will not hear.
Who sent sin into the world?
It’s the serpent.
He takes sin and introduces it into man to manipulate his mind.
Thus, he pushes man to sin so that he is disconnected from God.
And since man’s strength comes from God, man begins to weaken, so the devil is able to control him.
But when a Christian asks for forgiveness, repents, the Lord quickly forgives him, for He does not want men to perish. This is how the devil weakens.
Who killed Abel? It’s Cain.
But who orchestrated it? It’s the serpent.
Who was convicted? Cain.
In the New Covenant, it’s a crime to hate your brother, your sister, your neighbor, or even your president.
The devil will never take his own hand to do evil, but he pushes the Christian into evil, so that he may be condemned like himself.
However, when we are in Jesus, we resist the devil and he flees.
James 4
7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
The devil is the one who causes division and evil.
We must ask forgiveness for ourselves, for our families, for our brothers, for the nation…
The church is a territorial power of Light. When she raises her hand, everything stops because Jesus is in the lead.
However the enemy knowing this, he creates division within the church, criticism, selfishness, pride…so that the body of Christ becomes weak, and nothing happens when the church raises its hand.
Redeemed, we must have the character, the nature Of God in order to keep our glory.
